What do you do when you miss your flight home? You continue the adventure and book a flight to Cartagena with your fam of course 😅

Photo dump ahead! Im not one to update very frequently, zach does a much better job than I, but here I am trying! Here’s some pics from our flight out of Ohio through our days in São Paulo! In the customs line, we met a Canadian comedian, went to his show a few blocks from our hotel…At Hotel Heritage, we met Silas, the only one to speak English and became our friend, came to the comedy show with us and then took us to D-Edge, and EDM club! …..(more to come soon!)

A little catch up from our first travel assignment! I worked on a Neuro Trauma Care Unit at Salem Health. I met absolutely AMAZING people! Part of me wishes we had more time there, but I’m also excited to move on to a new place. While in Salem, we were able to catch up with a friend @astroboulders that we met randomly during a previous trip to Portland. My mom was able to come visit for a week, and we got matching tattoos (her first ever tattoo!). Ollie is welcome most places, as Oregon is SUPER dog friendly. We spent a few days away in downtown Portland where I sprained my ankle BAD and ended up on crutches for a few days… @caden.rogers I blame you! 😂 A few days before Halloween we visited Bauman’s Farm. Early November we had a short weekday getaway to Lincoln City, OR, had some amazing beach walks and had a wonderful lunch with @jazano66 who randomly happened to be in town at the same time! It’s been a great and wild first contract, here’s to the next!
