We are putting @zDen, this week’s podcast sponsor to the test. How much Florida sun can it block?
Disclaimer: zDen financially sponsored two episodes of the Sleep Unplugged podcast.

Imagine this...

You are an exhausted mom who needs some me time.

Your kids are not sleeping, and neither are you!

You have been gifted with an overnight (or weekend stay) in a hotel all by yourself.

What would you do? What would you take with you?

I have some ideas...

Take a copy of #beyondtiredbook and finally get a chance to read it.

Also don't forget your blackout tent zden. This is a foolproof way to ensure you get the best night of sleep ever.

Zden blocks over 99% of light, ensuring deep, restful sleep in any environment.

With these 2 tools, you come back not only well-rested but also knowledgeable and confident about what to do to improve your kids (and your family's) sleep.

Thanks to the generous donation of @zdensleep you can get the zden at 30% off using the code RestfulsleepMD30.

Links for #beyondtired and #zden are in the comments. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

I absolutely adore my Z-Den from @blockoutlight , it’s a huge help with my light sensitivity from migraine. It makes a bright room dark and a dark room fully blacked-out.

They’ve got a great sale going on now with an extra 25% off with code BFCM25ZZZ and free US shipping. Happy start to the holiday season. 💙

This is me, inside the Z-den @blockoutlight, it’s 10am and very bright inside my room, but in my little tent I can block out the lights and get some rest and relief for my brain and my eyes. The light in this pic is just from the phone screen, phone off, it’s pitch black. Thanks again y’all!!

Also, the beautiful folks at BlockOut Light gave me a 30% off (and free shipping) code if you’d like to get yourself one of these visit this link https://myzden.com/discount/melasmigrainelife

So now that it’s been here for nearly two weeks I thought I’d give a review. Again big thanks to @blockoutlight for this awesome giveaway prize.

So I have chronic intractable migraine, I spend between 20-26 days every month with migraine. One of my biggest irritants when I’m in a migraine attack is light sensitivity. And while I have used some really great sleep masks often having ANYTHING touching my head whilst in an attack can be unbearable. And honestly the Z-Den has been on my wishlist for MONTHS. As you can imagine I ripped the package open before the postman was down my driveway.

Pros:
*dark (like REALLY dark) zero light pollution at night. Very nearly zero light during the day.
*side vent windows
*easy to pop-up or fold up
*folds so thin/flat that I will ABSOLUTELY be traveling with this
*some noise reduction as well (can barely hear room fan when inside
*small opening to thread my CPAP hose/mask through (I also thread a USB cord)
*wide overlaying fabric that closes together well with Velcro
*tie backs for curtains

Cons:
*can get warm, if you’re a warm sleeper opening the side vents helps, but then you have some light intrusion.
*should have the internal mesh pockets on both sides for those who aren’t right side sleepers

Is it a little pricey, yes, but if you are a shift worker, have light sensitivity, the littlest light pollution keeps you awake, then it’s worth the money. And it appears there are times when it goes on sale both on Amazon and on their own website.

My biggest struggle the first week was keeping my cat from sitting on it when I was closed in/sleeping at night. We had some words, several sprays from the water bottle and it’s been a week since she’s tried to squish my head. She actually likes to sleep inside it with me.

Thanks again to @blockoutlight

Watching my favorite show on my tablet as I get ready to fall asleep inside my favorite new migraine aid, my zDen! THIS is the way to go to bed!

You'll notice that I have my ice bag (wrapped in a cloth), and a few other things that help throughout the night (towel: in case my ice bag leaks, sleep mask: to keep my ice bag on my head, mouth guard: since I clench my teeth, extra towels: in case I wake up crying). I'm prepared!! 😴

Thank you again and again, #blockoutlight ❣️
You have provided me many nights of comfort and peace!

zDen is having a giveaway! If you suffer from migraines, you should really try this! I love mine!
Not only does it Completely block out light (seriously, how did they do that?!), but it also blocks out some sound.
When my kitties get the zoomies at night, they always used to wake me up. I don't hear them when I'm inside the zDen. It's absolutely lovely! Serious game changer!
Good luck! 🤞💜

This, THIS! I am in love with this thing!
zDen sent me this for my migraines, and it has changed the way I sleep! It completely, 100% blocks out light, and the fabric is So soft! I accidentally slept late today, because the light usually and blindingly wakes me up, which sucks & is quite painful. I suffer from insomnia! So that's HUGE!
It's a foldable pop-up tent, essentially, but made for your bed, with Migraineurs in mind!
I highly recommend this product! You will Not be disappointed.
Yes, blackout curtains are great, but they do not completely block out light. And what if your partner needs some light while you're in bed in pain?
I am so happy with this beautiful... I don't want to say "tent", sleeping aid!
Thank you again, zDen! You have created an amazing and useful product (unlike so many on the market for migraine)! 💜
(I'm working on an unveiling video. I'll share that when it's complete.)

I feel like a kid in this thing! Lol Fun!
