Where do I even start. I’m so grateful for everyone I’ve met through this sport and everything that it has taught me and got me through. Thank you everyone whether that is my teammates, coaches, or supporters, for giving me a space to be me and have fun. On to the next chapter #SpideyOut

in a temporary world, things always end. unfortunately, that’s it for me and high school hockey. some of the best memories i’ve made have been with these boys. i want to thank all of my captains, fellow seniors, and every teammate i’ve had the last 2 years. when i was a freshman, this is was not a team i wanted to play for. the environment was awful and the people were tough to be around. this year, we all became a family. despite ups and downs on and off the ice, at least one guy was always there for the next guy. the culture in this locker room was a change i’ll never forget and this wasn’t a change made by one guy. yeah, nobody ever wants to see and play their last game, but i would’ve chosen to play with this team every time, over and over again. the conference champions banner we put on that wall will forever be proof of what we achieved, and i am so incredibly thankful for everything. i want to thank my family, god, coaches and everyone else who has supported me through my hockey career, and maybe this won’t be the end. instead of being sad that it’s over, i’m so happy and grateful that it happened. thank you everyone, #89out
