The Last Breath of the Winds
In the ancient Nordic realm, beneath a sky darkened by gathering storms, Blu and his faithful companion Zeca are approached by Eira, the mysterious silver-white winged messenger from the celestial kingdom.

She descends from the clouds carrying an enormous jeweled Hourglass of Winds. Eira reveals that far above the mortal world lies the Temple of Eternal Air, an ancient celestial kingdom held in the heavens by those Seven Winds.

Now, someone—or something—is stealing their breath.

Eira places the enormous Hourglass into Blu’s possession. She warns him that every time another wind loses its breath, the Hourglass will spin faster—and the Temple will fall farther from the heavens.

When the seventh wind disappears, the Hourglass will stop. And the Temple of Eternal Air will fall.

Blu climbs onto Gold with the Hourglass secured in his hands. Zeca takes his place beside him. An entire floating island tilts as terrified inhabitants flee toward the remaining structures. The kingdom is falling.

They land in the vast central courtyard greeted by Kuzy and Nikki, Maya is already searching for the thief.

It is Queen Arabella, Queen of the Void stealing the breath. With only the last breath remaining, Blu and his companions battle Arabella and her army in a race to free the winds before the temple falls forever. In the final confrontation, Blu releases the Seven Winds, restoring the temple and saving the celestial kingdom.

But the victory leaves behind a frightening realization: a world does not fall when the last breath is taken—it begins to fall when no one dares to protect the first. The story becomes a warning for turbulent times: freedom is rarely lost all at once; it disappears piece by piece when silence is allowed to prevail.

In Japan, farmland has never been just land.

It is soil shaped by generations,
a quiet foundation beneath the country’s food,
and a thread that holds rural life together.

For many years, the gates around this land were narrow.
Those who understood the seasons and the responsibilities of farming were the ones most often welcomed inside.

The purpose was simple:
to ensure that the fields remained with people who would truly care for them.

But time has changed the landscape.

The hands that once tended these fields have grown fewer,
the voices in the villages quieter,
and more earth now lies untouched, waiting.

To protect farmland, Japan has gradually had to open the gates—
not wide, but with intention.

Newcomers may enter,
if they come with sincerity,
with a realistic plan,
and with respect for the land and the people who have protected it.

I was recently invited to attend a district review meeting of the local Agricultural Committee regarding my wish to acquire farmland and begin farming.

I accepted.

Because farming is not something one approaches lightly.

It is a commitment made to the soil,
to the community,
and to the seasons that will shape one’s life.

Japan can no longer rely only on those who have always farmed.

Its future will depend on both experienced farmers and newcomers—
people who are willing to learn,
to work,
and to protect the land that feeds us.
