POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Zee Spearman in TED Ankara’s 98-84 win over Bodrum (🇹🇷/TKBL):

35 PTS
8 REBS
2 ASTS
3 STLS
+22

13-23 on 2s
9-11 on FTs

B2B 30 balls for the former Lady Vol. While the TKBL is a good opportunity for Spearman to get pro reps, I’d like to see her against tougher comp. Too good for the post rotations she’s seeing currently.

Former Lady Vol Zee Spearman in TED Ankara’s 83-63 win over Emlak Konut in TKBL (🇹🇷 - 2nd tier):

30 PTS
12 REBS
2 ASTS
1 STL
1 BLK

12-20 on 2s
6-6 on FTs

Great kickoff to the start of her pro career overseas

Like Curt Miller said earlier this year, Spearman is best when on the interior on both sides of the ball instead of being stuck in the corner or tasked with defending the perimeter as often at Tennessee. This outing is a good reminder of that

@upshotleague did more than create another league. It created more OPPORTUNITY for the athletes willing to fight for it, more chances to keep building the careers they dreamed about.

To the City of Savannah & THE BEST FANS IN THE LEAGUE, Thank you for welcoming me & trusting me to lead.

To the Sav Steel Front Office, Opps & Enmarket Staff – Thank you for your tireless efforts all season!

@tajmcwilliamsfranklin Your guidance throughout this transition has been insurmountable! Thank you for the work you do to push our league forward & for your advocacy for the women who coach in this league, alongside the players who represent Upshot –night after night. Thank you for your belief & creating more room for all of us to do this work!

@dorender & @akaufmann18 Thank you for believing in Upshot & expanding what’s possible for the women who play in this league!

To my staff: Your dedication. Your openness. The willingness to keep showing up when things got tough! Thank you for celebrating with me through the moments of JOY, like knocking off the regular season champs in our season finale. For ALL OF US, that win felt like our very own championship. A hard-earned ending to a season defined by adversity, resilience, and a whole lot of fight!

To my players – Thank you for your TRUST; Your LOYALTY; Your WILLINGNESS to give me everything you had all season! You came in as individual players. You left as a team. Thank you for your honesty, your vulnerability, and your belief.

I know what it means to trust someone with your career.

You did that with me. And I will carry that with me forever.

I became a better coach. A better leader. And a better student of the game bc of you all!

I’m proud of what we built & I’m proud of the people who built it with me.

Savannah Steel, thank you for giving me a season I will never forget.

Let’s run it back in 2027 🖤

PRO WORK IN THE LAB! 🏀🔥

Pro Zee Spearman @zee3_2 stopped in for some quality work with #SlushPro before heading to Turkey! 🇹🇷

Z’s athleticism, versatility, and soft touch around the rim make her a dynamic post player. Our focus was on movement out of screen actions, creating angles, developing touch around the basket, and finishing above the rim.

It’s not just about being athletic, understanding how to use that athleticism to create advantages and become more effective in game situations.

Move with purpose. Create the advantage. Finish the play. 🎯

Safe travels, Z! Go handle business in Turkey. 🤞🏼🖤

This past weekend I was given a once in a lifetime opportunity to capture the @upshotleague first ever Championship Game and it was an incredible experience! @cltcrownupshot battled hard to come back and beat the @jaxwavesupshot to secure the first ever title. So many Legends of the game and so much history was made this weekend and I am so thankful and grateful to be apart of this historic event. Even though my team didn’t make it, I want to give a special thanks to @savsteelupshot and the team for opening the door and even giving me the chance to make my dreams come true. I also got a posed photo of @shaq 🤯🤯 Pt.1
