Saturday, 12th of August 2023, I Told Her I Had Got Her To Accompany My Cousin @mavis_bujoreta and Her Colleagues on a Private Tour at The @discoverymuseum.ng Which I had Met with Their Staffs Earlier To Plan The Proposal,
The Plan Was A Private Tour indeed and After a View Of The Digital Gallery All Digital Art On Display Would Be Switched To Pictures Of Us And On Our Exit We Would Make Another Stop There And The Magic Happens, But it Wasn’t All Straight Forward As Planned.
First Problem Was She Had A Wedding Reception She Attended And Getting Her At The Museum Wasn’t Guaranteed,
Then I Couldn’t Get in Touch With My Cousin To Show Up As The Ruse,
And Third On The Scheduled Time For Tour At 8pm @seyitinubu Happened To Come Around And Requested a Tour, So All My Plans Got Delayed For Another Hour,
Which Was Good Cos That Gave Me Time To Get Her Over and Enough Time For My Siblings To Get in Before Her And Hide in A Back Room By The Digital Gallery,
Eventually I Had To Get Someone She Didn’t Know To Join The Tour So it Felt All Legit. At Some Point I Had To Leave The Tour And Run Out To Get My Other Cousin Through The BackDoor To Hide And Get Back Like Nothing Was Up,
Oh Wait!!! Did I Mention What The Cue To Know The Pictures Had Been Switched To Ours Was!?! Our Favorite Song By Norah Jones - Come Away With Me, Which Started Playing While We Were in The Opposite Room, And She Noticed But I Waived It Off Like it Was A Coincidence,
On Our Exit From The Artifacts Room and Back To The DigitalGallery The Song Came Back On Again with Our Pictures On Display, We Walked in, Just As She Took A Glance Around The Hall To Understand What Was Going On She Turned Round To Me On My Knees With A Ring Out,
And At That Moment Of Astonishment My Siblings All Sneaked Out Of The Back Room And Then It Hit Her, it Was The Proposal She Never Saw Coming, SHE SAID YES.
Everyone Was Let In On It That Evening So it Stayed a Surprise, And it Sure Did, And The Rest Has Been A Happy Ever After Story.
