🇳🇬 2025 in 90 seconds!

✨A year of creating, teaching, collaborating, learning, healing, and growing.

Some days we worked hard.

Some days we cried hard.

And many days, we laughed, learned, and created together.

From workshops and formulations to meaningful collaborations, from sourcing ingredients at their roots to family, faith, and community.

🍀This is Chubado - chosen with intention.
Thank you for being part of our journey!

On Thursday, 18th December, I had the privilege of hosting the third edition of Be Empowered - an initiative born out of a deep commitment to equip women entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge, and confidence required to start, sustain, and scale their businesses.

This year was particularly meaningful as we brought Be Empowered to Abuja for the first time, creating an intentional space for women at different stages of their entrepreneurial journeys to engage in practical learning, thoughtful conversations, and genuine connection.

I am grateful for the continued support and leadership of the Chairman of the Noella Foundation @seyitinubu, whose belief in this vision continues to strengthen and advance the work we do.

As part of this year’s initiative, our grant recipients will go on to participate in a structured boot camp designed to further equip them with practical skills, guidance, and support to strengthen and scale their businesses.

Be Empowered exists to expand access, build capacity, and support women who are building with clarity and purpose. The depth of engagement, the insights shared, and the community formed throughout the day were a powerful reminder of why this work matters.

I am grateful to our speakers @iamshaffybello, @the_c.o.o and @richauntyfinance for the generosity of their experiences and to every woman who applied, attended, and showed up with openness and ambition. Your resilience, drive, and commitment to growth continue to inspire this initiative.

#IWD2024 isn’t a day, it’s the whole month — the theme is #InspireInclusion ✨ We @bgr.africa partnered with #WIMBIZ to give out 10 tickets to advocates living with disabilities for their Abuja event 📍 cc @hapinigeria

To accelerate our collective growth, we co-sponsored the event with amazing female-led companies @zarigifts • @dermarxng • @rawbeautyafrica 💫 all these CEOs have important milestones and stories to share, spaces to fill — so why not do it together?

Thank you @hansatu_adegbite & @nnenna_enez for sharing the stage 🏆 you are truly the champions for IWD 🥂

Success comes with intentional planning. Had an insightful weekend @wimbizng learning from leading women from diverse backgrounds. It was amazing to be in a room with women I’ve looked up to over the years and learnt from. Having a thriving community is essential to career growth. I love to be around women smarter than me in some areas, it pushes me to grow and go the extra mile. A special shout-out to my girl @habibah.Waziri for constantly being a girls keeper 🙌🙌🙌.
