The future of women’s soccer isn’t just about advancing the game. It’s about advancing the women who make it possible.

In an interview with Dr. Ana Isabel Hume @dranabeltvhost, Soccerex TV host, Anna Pereira @annapereiraofficial, Founder and CEO of The Wellness Universe, shares our continued commitment to advancing well-being throughout the soccer industry.

As a longtime wellness partner of Soccerex @soccerex, The Wellness Universe was proud to help shape the inaugural HerSoccerex Founders Table experience with Alex Bowden @alexbowden_careercatalyst, bringing together influential women in soccer, including leaders such as @heidipellerano, @vandey01, and representatives of @theplayersnetwork_ to foster meaningful connections, conversations, and opportunities.

Through The Players Network Wellness Academy, we support women in soccer far beyond their athletic careers. Our network of wellness practitioners and professional experts provides resources spanning career development, legal guidance, emotional and mental well-being, physical health, and personal growth.

From navigating grief and life transitions to strengthening intuition, establishing healthy boundaries, and building resilience, our mission is to ensure women have access to the support they need to thrive in every aspect of life.

Looking ahead to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027 @fifawomensworldcup, we are excited about the opportunity to extend this support to players, staff, and the broader soccer ecosystem.

Because behind every athlete, executive, coach, and professional is a human being navigating life’s challenges, aspirations, and transitions.

Everyone deserves access to resources, compassionate support, and the opportunity to live their best life.

Thank you to Dr. Ana Isabel Hume and Soccerex TV for the opportunity to share our vision and the work we are doing to bring whole-person wellness into the world of soccer.

A HAT TRICK! ⚽️ Three years in a row at Soccerex! ✨

Each year has brought new opportunities, profound connections, and unforgettable experiences.

As an ambassador for @thewellnessuniv , I’m honored to have been part of this journey. This year was especially meaningful as I attended not only as a sports journalist, but also as a PhD student in Sport Management at Texas A&M University @tamu

Celebrating 30 years of Soccerex and being part of the first edition of #HERSOCCEREX was a reminder of the importance of creating spaces where women in sports can connect, share their stories, and shape the future of our industry. Special thanks to my beloved goddesses @alexbowden_careercatalyst & @annapereiraofficial to make this happen with so much love, competence & grace! ⭐️ @karinkorb @erika_olivera7 and @zeeyanaj for putting your heart on the event.

Thank you also to @hugovarelaofficial for everything @garrettnavia for the support and @physicalvisions (my wonderful husband, for planning our trip, always lift me up and to help with the content creation 🩷 I love you so much)

And to my beautiful mentors 💜 @sabrinalcp_pr @g_antoniello @la.coaching.life.energy and all the amazing women I had a wonderful connection during these days @claucarr10n @silvinafuentes @samantharosette @theplayersnetwork_ @vandey01 @jennifer.roche_mia @danielledubuc @alexavellanet @nikkihaimes @nia_fountain

With the FIFA Women’s World Cup coming to my beloved home country, Brazil, in 2027, I see an incredible opportunity to continue pursuing my purpose: creating opportunities, amplifying women’s voices, and contributing to greater representation in the sports industry.

My goal has always been to make a difference, open doors for others, and help shape a more inclusive future for the next generation of women in sports. 🇧🇷⚽✨Vai, Brasil!

You’ll be surprised by what can happen when you’re willing to step into the unknown. 🤍⚽️

SoccerEX was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the biggest opportunities begin with simply saying yes, showing up, and trusting where God is leading you.

So grateful for every conversation, connection, and unexpected moment along the way. Leaving with a full heart and so much excitement for what’s ahead. ✨

Keep showing up. Keep doing the work. Trust God with the rest.

What a week at @soccerex Miami 🌍⚽️

We showed up with three goals:

1️⃣ Bring the player perspective into rooms full of decision makers. The future of football shouldn’t be decided without players in mind.
2️⃣ Give players in our network real access: the chance to connect, learn, and explore where they want to make their mark on the game after their playing careers.
3️⃣ Advocate loudly for women’s football and player welfare.

We’re leaving Miami full of ideas and new connections, and more fired up than ever about where this game is headed. 💫

None of this happens without the people who believe in players. A huge, heartfelt thank you to @soccerex , @thewellnessuniv and specifically to @annapereiraofficial and @alexbowden_careercatalyst, for opening the doors and making sure players had a seat at the table. Thank you for sponsoring us and making it possible for our players to be in the room. We’re so grateful. 🤍

This is exactly the kind of opportunity TPN exists to create. By players, for players, to empower players.
