I haven't posted this until now because honestly... I have only now finally accepted that this season is actually over.

I've been in complete denial this past week. But once I started catching myself saying "I'll see you tonight at practice" or "I can't I have a competition on Saturday" I realized how much I had still been clinging to this season.
In my opinion, junior year is the hardest year in marching band, because you are now an upperclassman, all your friends are graduating, and now it's the beginning of a lot of lasts. Last year before you wear pink, last band camp before you get to kiss the moose or have to sit out of the water balloon fight, last time you get to play during a senior circle. It's a lot.

But I couldn't have asked for any better of a show this season. Even though it didn't feel like I'd ever reach the summit, now I wish I could climb this mountain forever.

This is Brayden Suiter! He is our third and final senior, his fav songs are Too Sweet by Hozier and New Person, Same Old Mistakes by Tame Impala, and his favorite part of marching season is goofing off with friends and comps!
