the best dressed giveaway results are here💫 first of all, thank you to everyone who joined our little fashionable mission to lift the spirits in these depressing times🫂 where i come from, when shit gets depressing, we start overdressing. and i wanted to bring a little bit of that energy to vienna💅 today we met so many different souls, each with their own style, personality, and stories behind what they wear. and that’s exactly what fashion should be about. thank you for bringing your a-game and making our pop-up a little more fabulous. but one person really came to collect that €50. walked into our pop-up, announced they were here to compete for best dressed, gave us the look, got photographed, and went straight back to work. a mission. a statement. a very efficient diva👑 and apparently, a winning strategy. our winner is waiting for you in the video on the last slide🧚 thank you all for reminding us that dressing up can be a little act of joy, especially when the world is doing its best to ruin the mood. vienna, we need more of this🫶💸💫 our vintage pop-up at café 7stern is having its final round tomorrow. one last day to dig through my lil’vintage selection of 400 hand-picked pieces that i collected all over austria, the balkans and italy. come have a look, try things on, and grab what’s yours before it’s gone🧚 see you tomorrow, 12–6 pm mondscheingasse 1 🦝🦝🦝

♡⊹˚₊𝓱𝓮𝓻𝔃𝓮𝓻𝓵𝓽𝓮𝓲𝓬𝓱𝓫𝓪𝓷𝓴𝓮𝓻𝓵₊˚⊹♡ ⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨♡୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹ somewhere in the park, past the formal hedges and the baroque castle, the water bends into a heart and people have always found each other there. lovers following a current they could not name, arriving at the bench tucked into the upper notch of the heart as if the landscape itself had been waiting to hold them, offering the intimacy we needed. for floating through reality (2024, @landesgalerie.burgenland ), we rematerialized this pond inside the gallery, redirecting the water’s logics into the white cube, its hydraulic desire to overflow and pool in unexpected places. The bench arrived, floating on the stream, into the Gallery. We painted it pink, the frequency of a hyper femme utopia that has already decided to exist. Lovers were offered purple markers so they could leave something of themselves on it. The surface became a skin of accumulated desire, layered and luminous; each mark a small act of inscription, a signature left on a surface, a small sign of love, living on beyond the moment. after the show, the bench returned to its origin at the pond’s upper indentation, carrying all of that with it. a permanent installation now, open to anyone who finds it. you can draw on it. you can sit with someone and feel the water. you can continue what we started. this is what queer futurity does to matter: it moves through it, leaves it altered, and keeps flowing. the archive leaks out of the gallery and back into the park. the park leaks back into whoever sits there next. water of the future, still running. ⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨♡୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹ come find her…..₊˚⊹♡ 📍 Herzerlteich, Schlosspark Eisenstadt https://maps.app.goo.gl/oi8T9Kmcs16PsQDT6 ⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨♡୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹ thanks for @esterhazy_now for lending us the real bench from the herzerlteich and for allowing her to live at her place by the pond <3 PS: if you come across the bench, enjoy, sign it, take some pics, tag us <3

Under the title “I only want it if it feels like that”, Hannah Neckel develops a virtual reality that spills over into the physical world and describes an emotional state in which the self in an online presence feels more authentic than the self in the analogue world. In this newly developed work, Neckel refers to experiences in the context of queer identity issues. Virtual spaces are meeting places outside of heteronormative guidelines. The anonymity of the Internet and acting in the “skin” of an avatar open up the possibility of really showing oneself for the first time. The sentence “I only want it if it feels like that” refers to a person’s realization that they no longer want to forego the feeling of living the authentic self in the real world. In Neckel’s works, physical space is often an extended virtual reality and the Internet is examined as a utopian place of longing. Her video-based installations can be read as portals to online communities with various visual codes and signifiers that are interpreted differently depending on the knowledge and perhaps also the age of the audience. . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡♡⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁.
