10/14 w/ @therealcarlstone @pablo.arrangoiz @disk_immer @fordeerlife

We could not be more thrilled to bring you the full lineup for the Carl Stone show, featuring two additional out of town acts who have been mainstays at Glob over the years.

Little can be said here about Carl’s music which hasn’t been said already. Active since the 1970’s, electronic music, sampling and digital performance would look very different today without his pioneering influence.

Pablo Arrangoiz is the stylistic shapeshifter behind more monikers than we can wrap our heads around. Having played spellbinding sets here as DJ Fitness, Señor Faxwater and Rental Snakes, the veil of pseudonym will be lifted in a rare delivery of plunderphonic brilliance.

Since inception, the sonic arc of Free Music has had a unique and personal trajectory unmatched by nearly any contemporary act. Having morphed texture, melody and improvisation into something undeniably singular and brave across his previous 6 releases, he will return to the projects foundational elements with a set of solo DX7 and voice.

Spinning before, in between and after performances will be DJ Ladybug. Having a spiritual core in Coil as much as Ennio Morricone, it goes without saying she is one of the most eclectic heads to spin along the entire front range. Lids will flip all night long.

If that weren’t enough, the zone of all sets will be enriched by the Break Even Sound System, the caliber of which is completely unparalleled in Denver.

This is without question our most ambitious lineup both stylistically and in terms of bringing three out of town acts on one bill together, and we hope you join us for an event that will truly be one of one.

7/17 w/ @muirjake @malefoetus @post_silence @zenith.ops

“Jake Muir is an LA-based artist, DJ, and field recordist working with found sound. He approaches his practice as a listener first, carefully curating, layering and processing sounds that help him deconstruct and contextualize his lived experiences and influences. Using investigative software methodologies, DJ techniques, and dextrous engineering, Muir makes deeply personal sonic art that fluidly traverses genre, encouraging reflection, and sometimes prompting psychedelic states.”

🌀🌀🌀🌀🌀🌀🌀🌀
Having already made three trance-inducing appearances in Denver alongside INDEX records, PLO Man and Laraaji, Texas born DJ and producer Gi Gi returns to Glob for a late night of atmospheric club music which will stretch the boundaries of genre, time and space. Anybody who has caught him before is familiar with the near-hallucinatory quality of his selections and blends, and how they actively forge sonorous pathways to higher states of feeling, listening, and by extension, living.
Our highest possible recommendation!
