✨ APOM Tries: Qigong Edition! ✨

At A Place of Mind, we're exploring different ways to nurture our mental, emotional, and physical well-being—both inside and outside the therapy room. 💚

This time, we visited @zenithwellnessstudio in Detroit for a Qigong experience led by Day Oshee @osheeday !

Qigong is a mind-body practice that combines gentle movement, intentional breathing, and mindfulness to encourage relaxation and awareness.

We spent our session exploring mindful movement and connecting with our bodies, then ended with a peaceful five-minute sound bath. ✨

One thing we love about wellness is that there's no single way to practice it. Sometimes, caring for yourself means stepping outside your comfort zone and trying something new.

A special thank you to Day Oshee for sharing this experience with us!

Started dating myself lately & discovered this gem 💎

Silent Disco Cinema : @zenithwellnessstudio

I loved being able to slow down, take in the atmosphere, enjoy the music, and just be present in the moment 🤌🏾 Definitely not your typical night out, and honestly that’s what made it so much fun!

My verdict: 10/10!! Perfect for a solo date, girls’ night, or anyone who loves R&B + nostalgia. 🥂🎶

Would you add this to your date-night list? 👀👇🏾 #90sbaby #solotravel #detroit #SelfCare

Grieving the holistic way @zenithwellnessstudio … you will not regret it..every time I connect for some needed assistance on this new path without my mom or father..even though I know that they are still with me.. the physical pain have to do its thing but I don’t have to stay in it.. I assist the process in a healthier way then I did when my dad passed.. I was on a suicide mission with lots of support in feeding me alcoho, weed and sex…numbing not feeling the grief.. escaping any chance I got.. awareness now helped me to innerstand I have to feel, but have to move ,surrender then do it again and again… hopefully one day my heart will feel peace.. until then I’m grateful for the all the wonderful people Semi from @naturesambrosia …. I am so grateful to have the space to release, and heal so I can continue on the path source has me on…gratitude and grateful for the woman I am becoming never easy but all is necessary 🖤❤️‍🩹💝💖
