Are you looking for a cosy community that loves spooky season as much as you do? Esoteric Etchings brings together lovers of this world’s oddities to explore their experiences through art! 🖤✨

We’ll be at @lostsoulspizza on 26th October, the full moon before Halloween, to connect with our ancestors through art, inner work and sharing of food as part of a dumb supper still life.

All attending artists get a slice of (a huge) vampire pizza and a slush to be enjoyed in the break.

This is an untutored session led by art model, practicing artist, and esoterica & psychology enthusiast, @rebecca.collins.thompson - it is untutored by design so you can explore your own style and creative intuition. There will be facilitated exercises on automatic drawing, scrying and drawing inspiration from tarot and talismans.

You are encouraged to bring a small momento that represents your ancestors or a past loved one, a photo and perhaps a story if you wish to share.

We are a proudly puppy friendly art group! Loved having this little guy join us at our last @lostsoulspizza session 🖤

Our next session will be held at @edible_landscapes_london and your four-legged familiars are welcome to roam while you soak in the forest garden surroundings and get inspired by the form and flora with some botanical illustration! This session is all about connecting with nature.

Some of the sketches from our scrying and dreamscapes session last Friday! The Esoteric Etchings art group is all about dropping expectations, connecting to your inner world and playfully experimenting to find your creative intuition.

We looked for images using black bowls, candles and closing our eyes. We shared our dreams and experiences with lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis, before sketching from our dreamworlds, capturing symbolism to unpick in more detail after the session.

We’ve got our next Surrealist Dreamscapes event coming up on Monday 14th September at @covenhq - link in bio 🔗
