31K. 1190m elevation. My ITRA debut. Coffee Trails Coorg was more than just a race. It was a dream run since I started running, and a special way to celebrate my 35th birthday. ❤️ From endless uphills and slippery trails to leeches, stream crossings, cute dogs, breathtaking views, and unexpected food stops, every kilometre had a story. Tired legs, muddy shoes, rain, and moments that made me forget all the pain. My first ITRA trail race, my first 31K, and a big step into the world of ultra running. Not just a finish line, but a reminder of how far I’ve come since I started running, and how much more I want to explore. 🔥 Huge thanks to Sandeep and the entire Coffee Trails Coorg team for making this experience unforgettable. 🙌 ITRA debut: DONE. The Coffee Trails, Coorg - 31K at 1190 m elevation gain. My 1st 31k trail run and a first step towards ultra. For my 35th birthday, I couldn’t have asked for a better gift to myself than one of my dream runs so far, 31K at Coffee Trails Coorg with 1190m elevation gain! It started with a slight drizzle at the start line… and then Coorg said, Good luck, buddy! Immediate uphill climbs, endless trails, slippery patches, two cute dog angels (well, one barked at me 😭🐶), crazy downhills, washing my face in cold streams, endless refreshments, RED BULL and of course… the unwanted leech squad! I started running only recently, but somewhere along the way, it became more than just running. It became about discovering what I’m capable of. This is not a midlife crisis. This is my running era! 😂💪 Huge thanks to Sandeep and the team for the outstanding support, amazing refreshments, and a scenic, thrilling trail despite Coorg’s rain and thunderstorms!
