Our Sculpting Jury Day was a space for dialogue, reflection and artistic exchange, where students presented work rooted in observation, experimentation and personal voice.

What made the day truly special was the generosity and care with which the jury engaged with every student artist encouraging them to think deeper, see new possibilities in their work and feel truly seen as emerging artists.

The jury brought together practitioners across disciplines in sculpting: @snehal_goyal, visual artist and printmaker; @_simranbarai, architect and interior designer; Shilkumar Kumbhar @shil2686, Head of the Fine Arts Department and Uttam Janwade, Assistant Professor at @mit_sofa; @parth_palsay, ceramic artist and studio potter; @meghnapmenon, artist-entrepreneur and founder of @zenscrawl; @waah_suha Suhashya Telang, NID graduate and filmmaker; @kesarkhinvasara, multidisciplinary abstract artist; Shilpa Shindgikar, fine artist and digital designer; and Krunal Nikam, sculptor and clay artist.

Their presence made the space feel not just evaluative, but deeply encouraging, leaving students with a stronger sense of belief in themselves and their artistic journeys.
