Please join us in congratulating the incredible Eva Lai, who has just become part of the MasterPeace family!

Eva is both a talented artist and an inspiring yoga instructor

Her pilot class was up there with one of the best MasterPeace classes we've ever seen... the Master Instructors evaluating her were like.... 😮

Safe to say her meditation put us into a semi-trancelike state too

We're expecting big things from this zen chica

Meet her on

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. Hmm, somehow long after the bruises fade, it’s the emotional impact of words that remain and take root. For better and for worse. Our brains are hardwired to remember the negative to protect us so that we spot them when they arise again and we learn to keep out of harm’s way. Unfortunately, when we’re no longer avoiding caves with lions in them, we tend to linger on negative words and emotions and need to actively work on creating positive re-enforcement to create neural pathways that encourage feelings of well-being, confidence, love and positivity. The words we use to ourselves and about ourselves are so very powerful because of exactly this. We listen to ourselves. So why not talk to ourselves as though we’re someone we actually like and care for??
.
I’ve just written a blog post on this topic - and at the end of it you can download a freebie on 5 steps to self care, with 7 positive and empowering mantras and affirmations to use whenever you need. .
My next two retreats are coming up in March and in June, and in each one I aim to hold space to re-enforce those feelings of empowerment, for you to let go of whatever doesn’t serve you, to begin to unfurl into your best self. Places are filling up, please see the Retreats section on my website for details and to book. .

. YOGA DRAWING WORKSHOPS .

A fun activity to practice mindfulness- I will introduce yoga philosophy/ the healing process through drawing:

Observe -> Let go of what no longer serves you -> Express & release -> Switch perspective & focus on the good/ the light ✨
.

It consists of a series of workshop:

The first one is “Seeing Shadows” ~ we focus on observing, learning how to see reality/ truth, looking at shadows.. not only on the subject you are drawing, but also your own shadows in life! 🖤

A beautiful #Repost from @zense.space with @get_repost. This post blew me away and reminded me why I truly love what I do. That beautiful ripple we create when we learn to teach and teach to learn, we teach to share and share to empower. We then see the ripples of gold of all this juicy magic spread as the spirals keep unfolding..... teaching yoga and dance for me is magic. Remember we are all here to connect, to empower and to transform. We rise by lifting others 🧝🏼‍♀️ Keep rising Eva, this piece stole my heart 💓 ・・・

“Don’t move on auto pilot, move with intention and connection; truly F E E L ...”

I came to Sara’s @butiyoga yoga class at Gymbox during a tough time in my life.. she was the first person who introduced to me what yoga really is ... it’s more than just a workout. She made me feel, she made me look into the mirror when I didn’t like myself, but then week after week, I started to truly see me again, I found strength! This one little spark was the start of this whole new journey...
.

Sara supported me when I first came up with the ZenseSpace concept; she helped me got my first ever @yogi.bare mat (which has now travelled everywhere with me) ; She lead me to @theyogapeople family; She shared words of wisdom just before I was about to teach my first public yoga class (& nearly pooped my pants) .. most of all she inspired me to be 100% authentic! .

Sara I’m so grateful for you angel..🙏🏻💕 keep inspiring! ✨
You never know where one yoga class can lead someone to...

We are often driven by a sense of rush, or urgency. In our modern world information and communication flow so quickly that we tend to forget that many things in life have a very different timeline.

Nature has its own rhythms. Having a child requires nine months of wait time; you cannot have nine women “do the work” so the child is born in a month. There are many things you just cannot speed up (or at least shouldn’t try to speed up). Likewise, self-transformation takes time. Designing the life you want takes time. Cultivating a deep and nurturing relationship takes time. Building a meaningful business takes time. Transformation takes time. A huge congratulations to this amazing group of women who so gracefully shared, supported and inspired each other.
