Fine lines, layered inks, and tiny #details make all the difference!

Day 21 of Inktober Tangles 2026 features Umarmung by CZT Annett Rümpler, with an intricate trellis, diamond auras, delicate white Flux flowers, and little black pearlz. I loved experimenting with different pens and shades of ink to bring depth and dimension to this design. Do you see flowers, butterflies, or something else entirely?

Inktober Tangles Day 20 — Hearty Wyfore by @zentangleinc

A playful sketchbook exploration in pink and black led to this dramatic three-tier design, embellished with scrollwork, tiny dots, white highlights, and silver glitter — a little old-world treasure made from ink and intention.

Zentangle meets Notan Art !

Light and dark.
Not as opposites,
But as partners.

Where the cut reveals the light,
And the dark holds it gently.

It's not about what's removed,
It's about what remains.

Thank you dear CZT Claire @clairemiller3907 for a beautiful session on Balance and Harmony ! It was lovely to see two sides of the same beauty !

Inctober tangles 2026
Day 20/31 : Hearty Wyfore by @zentangleinc

A big thank you to @havepen_willdraw for putting this beautiful challenge together and giving us a reason to pause, create and connect. ✨

I found this pattern a little challenging to figure out how to colour, but I did my best and somehow managed to finish it. I’m not completely happy with how it turned out, but I decided to share it anyway. 😊❤️
