ATF stopped requiring registration on SBRs Oct 9.
You can buy one on a 4473 or build one without asking.
I’m still filing. Form 4 if I buy it, Form 1 if I build it.
It’s a policy, not a repeal, and policies change with administrations.
And SBRs still need a Form 20 to cross state lines.
My AR pistol doesn’t.

Build specs:
my @hecklerandkoch MR build
Lower- mr223
Upper- mr556 with tano hk416 rail
Trigger @geissele HK mr556
Optic- @zentineldefense
Brace- @sb.tactical
Angled grip- @strikeindustries
