Some installation views from Re-enact a Fable, which opened last week in Tirana and will still be on view in the city for a few more days.

I owe an enormous thank you for this crazy, energizing, unforgettable month to all the wonderful people I’ve met and travelled with. Starting with @elian.stefa , @amantiapeza , and @sonila_abdalli from @albanianvisualartsnetwork board, for shaping a project that truly involved the whole city.

To the brilliant technical team @eraldmaknori , @hina_shkembi for the amazing graphics, @rrezjadiellit for the technical planning, @henripanduku , @studionicolajeffs , @aarnen , @henrikeiglesias_official , and all the volunteers who jumped in to help these past days.

Heartfelt thanks also to @vila31artexplora , @nitadeda , @poci, @tullaculture and @albannimani , @qendra_e_artit_agimi , @arkiviqendrorshteterorifilmit for Xhanfise Keko’s films; @biblioteka_kombetare_shqiperi for the archival documents of Urani Rumbo from the 1920s; Bar Thaka for hosting us in this incredible cultural space and the fantastic sound artists @zer0case , @nica2cica , and @sindiziu who performed that night. And to all the friends who travelled from different parts of the world to support this project!!

Finally my deepest gratitude to all the participating artists: @zerozerobeb @_xixaaa @gentiandoda @wasbleibtkollektiv @annaehrenstein @haziraj.blerta @genc.kadriu @erdiola_kanda

Arkivi Zanor 001: zerocase & nica2cica live
Available on SoundCloud (link in bio)

🇬🇧 The first entry in Arkivi Zanor comes from our opening event at Tirana Artificial Lake Park, featuring a live performance by local artists zerocase & nica2cica.

In their set, textures converse with each other following the physical and temporal rhythms of Tirana’s terrestrial and urban landscape. Modular synths layer with noise and field recordings: cats purring, birds chirping, horns blaring, surrounding construction sounds, and buzzing bees.

A journey through a sonic landscape of natural atmospheres with the synthetic always lingering.
