The training is done ✅
Time to taper off 📉
Ready for Iron Apocalypse next weekend at @zerow_geelong 🧟‍♀️

This prep has been an absolute fuckin blast. I’ve had the best time training harder than I ever knew I could. And loved just about every minute of it. 🙌🏻🥳

It hasn’t come without its challenges.
I got mighty sick with Bacterial tonsillitis in late May. Then I bulged a disc in my lower back in Mid August. (An old injury I reaggrevate every few years) But we worked hard and we turned it all around. 🥳🙌🏻

Huge thanks Coach Beggsy, @kathleen_beggs_ I’m already lifting numbers I couldn’t have even dreamed of. And it’s only gonna get bigger! 😭 I love to train, and train fuckin hard. Thank you for the trust you’ve helped me build in my body and its capabilities. 💚

Coach @yacob_roberts and the rest of my Gym Fam at @stronghold_ballarat My home away from home. None of ya’ll will ever know how much your friendship, help, kindness, spotting, the banter and the standard everyone holds themselves to on their own journey, keeps me aiming higher and rocking up every day. I love ya’ll 🥹🫶🏻

Coach @shaniaradke_ You’ve helped me build the healthiest relationship with food and body image that I’ve ever had. This years goals was fit, fed and firey. The skills you’ve helped me build are healing a lifetime of food shame and guilt. And I appreciate the fuck outta you. 💚

Special thanks to the glorious Kathleen at @barcphysio who is always there when I need her in an emergency. Thanks for always piecing me back together when I start to fall to bits. 💚

Ready for my first sanctioned comp, stronger than I’ve ever been, heart is full as a goog. 🥚🍳

The weight on the bar might have my name next to it, but the work behind it has both of ours 💪🏼

I don't think people realise just how much of an impact a good coach can have on an athlete.

As you all probably know already, earlier this year, I injured my back. I couldn't even pick a barbell up off the floor without pain, let alone imagine myself standing on the platform at Nationals again.

There were setbacks, frustrations, doubts and plenty of moments where I questioned what I was going to be capable of.

But through all of it, my coach never stopped believing in me.

She knew when to push, when to pull back, when to remind me to be patient and when to remind me that I was still the athlete I had worked so hard to become.

We didn't have the perfect prep.

But we worked with what we had, adapted when we needed to and kept moving forward.

And somehow, we went from what we thought was a season ending injury to standing on the platform at Nationals, finishing 5th in Australia (u100kg) 🥹

Something that felt so far out of reach just months earlier.

A good coach doesn't just build a stronger athlete. They help build the confidence, resilience and mindset that carries you through the moments when strength alone isn't enough.

I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved together, but I'm even more excited about what is still to come.

Thank you for backing me, even when I struggle to back myself. For seeing the bigger picture when I was too caught up in the setbacks, and for never letting one bad chapter define the rest of my story.

I might be the one standing on the platform, but I'll never forget who helped me get there.

We're only getting started, Kel 🤝🏼

Let's git it gf 🦋

INTRODUCING… ✨ LIFT CLUB ✨

AHHHH! IT'S HAPPENING! 🥹🦋

I am SO excited to finally share something I've been working on behind the scenes, and something I am incredibly passionate about.

If there's one thing I've learnt from being part of the fitness community, it's that the gym can change SO much more than just your body.

I've experienced firsthand the confidence, strength and self-belief that comes from showing up for yourself. And I've watched countless others completely transform once they discover what they're truly capable of.

But here's the thing…

The exercise is often the easy part.

What about the motivation? The discipline? The confidence? The goals? THE PLAN?!

What about walking into a gym and actually feeling like you BELONG there?!

THAT'S WHERE LIFT CLUB COMES IN. 💪🏼

I'm bringing you training workshops and ongoing support designed to help you build confidence, find your feet, connect with like-minded people and take that next step in your fitness journey.

Whether you're a complete beginner finding your courage or an elite athlete looking for that next level, there's a place for you here.

Because you don't have to be the strongest, the fittest or the most experienced person in the room to deserve a seat at the table. 🫶🏼

8th powerlifting comp, 2nd Nationals, 5 months post fking my back, and this was the FIRST TIME I'd gone 3/3 all white lights on squats.

My squats are very reactive to my nerves, and somehow I was able to keep a lid on it this time. So proud of myself.

I've got more room to grow with these and I am so excited to see what we can build in the off season 🙌🏼
