Topic: A Call to Intimacy
Preacher: Apostle Josiah Odeyemi
Text: Songs of Solomon 5:1–17

A call to intimacy is a call to God’s heart. His love is more intoxicating than wine (Songs of Solomon 1:1).

Intimacy requires reverence. The angels bow before Him, how much more should we?

Seek Him with your whole heart. Pull Him into your situation even when He feels far. Don’t stop praying just because you got no reply. Kill the haste in your soul.

Consistency builds intimacy. Many can finish novels in weeks, yet struggle to open the Bible. Build your foundation strong so you don’t rush in and rush out of grace.

Don’t sleep on Jesus knocking at your door (Songs of Solomon 5). Answer early. Timing matters. Delay can cause Him to walk away.

A day will come when God will stop calling if you don’t answer. But there is mercy. Even when bruised, He still finds you.

Offer yourself as a living sacrifice. Don’t grow complacent. Push again. Sacrifice again. Seek Him early, while you are young.

Apostle Josiah Odeyemi emphasized that your response to the cross is to offer yourself as a living sacrifice. Don’t grow complacent. Push again. Sacrifice again. Seek Him early, while you are young.
