I had a good feeling about this event and I was not wrong. Exceptional line up on the cupping table by @nordicapproach and a great event hosted by @ucb.coffee at @palette_by_roasteria ☕️

Sometimes we win , sometimes we learn. And I can say this is the most meaningful routine I ever had. Mistakes are inevitable, and that’s part of life and competition , that makes it authentic 😅🫶
Sharing a message on stage is always been so delightful and fulfilling. Honored to be with these set of amazing competitors! I enjoyed every single bit of it. You all guys have the best shot! Keep going!
❤️🫶

For what it’s worth receiving the confirmation from World coffee championship R&R committee little later prior the competition day that my BINOCULAR DRIPPER is allowed to be use in competition few days before, I think it gave justice to the result ranking highest in the first round. Blending as simple complex coffee from @geshavillage Ethiopia Gesha Village Honey and Finca El Oasis Washed Geshas . It was just box of paper tissue 1 year ago and heyyy it does brew a coffee now with the extraction that i want to achieve in BEYOND BLENDING COFFEE AND VARIABLES. Together with the man of @coffeemakingpeace we made this possible . And that enough is more than winning for us.Made me even excited to what competition can offer to the next level to achieve a beautiful cup of coffee. Innovations are made by people and made for people 🥹❤️🫶

Definitely one my favorite competition category to be in!
I CANT SEE MUCH WHAT NOT TO LOVE IN COMPETITION SPIRIT ❤️ and so I keep going. Marking my 4th competition this year and I placed 4th 😅And even happier to see new coffee people and old faces who keep pushing and sharing their love on stage for coffee, beyond pouring a little bit of water for a little bit of time. That’s the process that we are all obsess , representing the Hardwork of farmers all coffee chain in a cup. Cheers to all frontliners of this industry. Including all the Volunteers and judges who spend so much Hardwork on this. ❤️ @gugu_cathy 🏆

Amazing result to have these 3 champions all the way! A well deserved winning to @frederick_bejo @archers.ae @_jane_espante_ and @theespressolab @scauae # UAE is so proud of you and supporting you all the way! ❤️

Thank you super John @yevgeniyrishe and @cosmic.garden.coffee for never ending support!!

🇦🇪☕️

When @grandmother.coffee announces a cupping event, you are sure to find some interesting selection of coffee on the table. This was @hadselcoffee’s debut in the region, featuring coffee from producers like Mauricio Shattah, Raquel Lasso, Wilton Benitez, and many more.

Hadsel to me was more than a green coffee curator. Yes, they source some of the best coffees Colombia has to offer, from the top cup of excellence winners to coffees that you keep appreciating every round you taste it on the cupping table.

But, there was another realization that evening after the event — good coffee can be recognized from a mile away and the team at Grandmother uses the roastery as a platform to introduce up and coming producers and their representatives to the local coffee industry. This is Community Social Responsibility at its finest.

This year has been a journey—just like brewing the perfect cup of coffee. It started slow, had its challenges in the middle, but finished strong with depth, richness, and purpose. Through every moment, God has been my constant, guiding me 24/7.

I’ve learned so much in such a short time—lessons that have shaped me, just like the heat shapes green coffee into something extraordinary. The blessings have been overflowing, and with a few days left in the year, I’m pausing to reflect and give thanks.

To all of you who’ve shared this journey, thank you for being part of the brew that made this year so special. How has your year been? Let’s raise a cup to growth, gratitude, and great coffee ahead. ☕✨
