We’re excited to officially welcome KJ Kearney and Meziah Scott as our new Youth Quarterback Development Coaches with Undefeated Quarterback Training! 🏈

KJ led Dinwiddie High School to its first-ever state championship in 2013, earning All-State honors before playing at Christopher Newport University, where he set the school record with 400 passing yards in a game and was named first-team All-Conference. He’s been a dedicated volunteer coach with UQBT since 2023 and now steps into an even bigger role.

Meziah broke records at Petersburg High School with over 5,000 passing yards and 48 touchdowns, earning Region 3A Offensive Player of the Year before playing at Western Carolina and Virginia State University. He’s been part of the UQBT family since 2020, first as a trainee and later as a volunteer coach, bringing a full-circle perspective to our program.

Both will work directly with our Juniors (2nd-4th grade) and the Beginner level of our Futures program, helping our young quarterbacks build a strong foundation. They will also assist with all camps and clinics throughout the year.

On August 6, 2024, I had the privilege of hosting my second event with Hall’s View LLC.

This time, I returned to my alma mater, Petersburg High School, to present the first Hall’s View Professionalism and Etiquette Boot Camp. The interactive session focused on empowering young men with essential life skills—ranging from chivalry, etiquette, and public speaking to the importance of hygiene and making lasting first impressions. I shared practical tips I wish I had known as a young student, and to make the experience even more impactful, I purchased 31 ties for the student-athletes, taught them how to tie them, and gifted them their very first tie.

Growing up in Petersburg, VA, we often faced challenges, but I’m passionate about showing that this city nurtures greatness. A huge thank you to Coach Lawson and Meziah Scott for their invaluable support in making this event a success. 🌊
