Not really sure how to write this one without getting a little emotional. Yesterday was the final game for the United PDX 2008 Girls team, and it’s honestly hard to believe the journey is over.

Over the years, I didn’t just see these girls as players on Mikayla’s team. They became family. I’ve watched most them grow up on and off the field, build friendships, battle through wins and losses, laugh on road trips, and create memories that will stay with all of us long after soccer ends.
Being able to travel with them and photograph their journey, whether it was club soccer or high school games, has been something I’ll always be grateful for. Yesterday I had the chance to do senior photos, family photos, and team photos for them one last time, and it meant more to me than they probably know.
Thank you girls, coaches, and families for letting me be a small part of the ride. I’m going to miss seeing this group together during game weekends.
Proud of all of you. ❤️⚽📸

Another rockstar from the 5️⃣0️⃣3️⃣, a big PLU welcome to Zienna Black!

Zienna is from Portland, OR and played her high school soccer at Lincoln HS and her club soccer for @unitedpdxgirls_2008academy.

Our first commit for Fall 2026, Zienna is a mobile CMF with very good vision and passing ability along with a high level of soccer IQ. She will be a future leader for our program on and off the field. A great addition to our culture.
