Some flavors feel like home. A little sweetness, a little crunch, and thousands of memories stuck together in something simple, like "geti". Geti is a traditional Javanese sweet made from roasted peanuts (or other nuts), sometimes mixed with sesame seeds, bound together with caramelized palm sugar. Crunchy, nutty, and delightfully sweet, this humble treat carries a taste of heritage and nostalgia. This painting of geti was made using Kuretake Gansai Tambi by @zigkuretake_id @kuretakejapan on V-Tec A5-size 300gsm watercolor paper by @vtec_artsupplies @vtec.id, and a part of "Home is Where the Stomach is" art exhibition, managed by @sambiljalan.art. #artoftheday #foodillustrator #foodporn #watercolourillustration #watercolor_art

----------- Watercolor on paper. Watercolor set: Kuretake Gansai Tambi. ✨ Pangong Lake was simply UNREAL. 🏔️💙 While we were here, I had to give a huge shout-out to our incredible local team, @himalaya_lagoon , @gurmet_hl — truly THE BEST TEAM! 🫶 Through some of the most challenging terrains, they drove with patience and care, built “bridges” so we could cross the glacier, handled our luggage, made sure we were properly fed and looked after at every meal and snack, and walked and guided us every step of the way. Their dedication, attentiveness and genuine care were truly second to none. 🙏✨ Pangong was the perfect rest point on our journey. I finally had a little time to slow down, breathe, take in the breathtaking landscape… and even squeeze in a quick sketch. 🎨🏔️ In the afternoon, we visited the famous spot from 3 Idiots — and naturally, we decided to make complete idiots of ourselves! 😂🤪 But honestly, the laughter made the moment even more memorable. We laughed, played, and soaked in every bit of this magnificent view. And then came dinner… our turn to cook for the team! 👩‍🍳😂 We took over the kitchen and served the best to the best — Indomie mie goreng! 🇮🇩🍜 We devoured it like it was a feast fit for a King. 👑😂 A perfect meal, with the perfect people, in one of the most extraordinary places on Earth. Unforgettable Pangong. And also @himalaya_lagoon, @spawofoundation , @safarnamjourneys, thank you for taking such good care of us. 🫶🙏✨ #PangongLake #Ladakh #IncredibleIndia #TravelDiaries #HimalayanAdventure
