Scouting lines and possibilities at Trollstigen Road. The talking you hear is actually me communicating with Amber via a neckmike. It was a test. I called her from the top. She was at the Trollstigen view point. There is a danger of drones in that area, and it was an interesting test to have her on my ear. She said she heard me perfectly well, and she could have ordered me to deviate from my line, if needed. The sounds you hear in the video is not from the neckmike, but the incredible sound of my @gopro Max 2. Soon time for our yearly (and superbly fun) @zingtoothpaste project! #gopromax2

The lovely people @zingtoothpaste reached out to me to see if I wanted to try ZING - they explained that they have created neurodivergent-friendly whitening toothpaste in 4 different flavours! Brushing my teeth is always something I’ve found difficult due to sensory issues and ZING are keen to help as many people who struggle with it as possible 🪥 Their products are also 100% recyclable, made in the UK and are a cruelty-free alternative to other toothpaste brands. So far I’ve been really enjoying using the apple and kiwi flavoured toothpaste and their mint floss (and it’s very helpful that it’s black because it’s easier to see) it’s not overpowering, which mint-based flavours can be a lot of the time! These were #gifted to me so I wasn’t obligated to share but I wanted to as I am finding these products much easier to cope with compared to other toothpastes which are so overpowering and overwhelm me sensory wise so it might be worth giving these a go! Some brilliant PR parcels have landed over the last few weeks. I’m a bit behind on sharing them because our house renovation has completely taken over and there are boxes everywhere, but here are a few highlights and first impressions. The @lauramercier Satin Lipsticks are unbelievably creamy with a beautiful satin finish. I can’t believe I’d never tried them before, but I think they’re going to become a staple. I’ve been using the @arransenseofscotland Grapefruit range at home and it’s probably the most realistic grapefruit fragrance I’ve come across. Fresh, bright and true to the fruit rather than overly sweet or synthetic. That’s saying something because I’m not usually a grapefruit person. Every time a @maccosmetics PR parcel arrives I still have to pinch myself. The new Strobe Bronzer and Strobe Blush might be my favourite launches from them yet. They blend effortlessly and give a gorgeous, buildable glow. @innersenseorganicbeauty is a brand I really need to dedicate a post to. I’m usually sceptical of the term “clean beauty”, but they’ve impressed me with both their transparency and their products. They’re even gentle enough for my daughter’s hair, so we’ve finally got one set of haircare products in the bathroom. The @dussl.co Mineral Sunscreen really surprised me. Mineral SPF often leaves a white cast, particularly on deeper skin tones, but this disappeared into my skin beautifully. I’ll keep testing and report back. @zingtoothpaste toothpaste has been all over my Instagram. The mint flavour tastes great and feels lovely to use, but toothpaste is one of those products you need to judge over time, so I’ll let you know how I get on in a few weeks.
