8 years ago, my wife bought me a pair of raw Levi's 511s. Deep indigo, perfect fit, and ridiculously comfortable from day one.

I wore them hard for nearly a decade with minimal washes. They saw countless miles, developed phone-pocket blowouts, busted pockets, and all the battle scars that come with a well-lived pair of jeans.

Today, I was surprised to find out I still have them.

Looking at them now, every fade, tear, and repair tells a story. Eight years later, they're more than just jeans—they're a time capsule of everyday life. 👖💙

We’ll be announcing the full list of spot prize winners on Denimhunters later today. We’ve got a little sneak preview at some of the winners.   All of the spot prizes you see here have been made possible thanks to the generosity of our winners.   The first to start the trend was @wear_til_dead who donated the Nicks Leather Goods belt and the pair of Nudies in her showcase. These prize went to Bob and Jusram, who both deserved extra recognition.

@denimdawg_ kept the ball rolling by donating the Luke’s belt, which we were able to give to Zachary for his beautiful photographs.

@32oz_denim donated his Kato showcase, which we are able to give to Henrik, our youngest winner.

@roadtofadedenim donated his pair of Nudies, which went to our People’s Champ Aaron.

@selvage_cowboys allowed us to give away his pair of NBDNs, which went to Aditya as an apology for an admin mix-up.

@kyle.knight.denim gave up a pair of Baird Jeans, which we gave to Peter Petrov for his wild leg twist.

Finally, we want to give a very special shout out to @luvthefades who shocked us by donating his ENTIRE SHOWCASE back into the prize pool. This allowed us to give Kohei the Ry T Spear Memorial prize of a Heimat sweater and beanie, and it gave us something great to give to Dale for his frigid presentation.

This kind of infectious generosity warmed our hearts. It’s great to see so many of our competitors putting the kind of philosophy we preach here (owning less, and wearing more) into practice, even when given the opportunity to take home gorgeous prizes.
