Whew! What a whirlwind of
laughter, crying ,joy, sadness, satisfaction of completing, excitement and any and every other emotion you could think of this week, most of it happening on one day that seemed as though it turned into at least five.
Thursday was Viv’s last day of her senior year AND her senior play, in which she played the title role. Her and all of the kids of KCA did an amazing job portraying and honouring the life of Corrie Ten Boom. If you didn’t get to come see it I will try and leave a link in the comments.
I was honoured to be able to play older Corrie to Viv’s younger Corrie and it was such a bittersweet time of completion.
We started KCA in the fall of 2015 and this Thursday we finished that particular time in the life of our family. So many things have happened in those 10 years, good , bad, happy and sad. Kids getting married. Dear ones passing. New ones being born. Ten years is a long time but it’s a short time.
So, this Senior Sunday is all about the end of an era and the beginning of hopefully grand and amazing things for sweet Viv and me as well. I get to start new things. Please pray I endure this time🙏🏻

It’s been one week, and we didn’t get many pictures bc we were busy trying to survive a “generational flood,” but let it be known that my kids had an excellent time at our 2025 “Hollywood Nights” Spring Formal.
I, as evidenced in the last photo, also had a fair time. 🤣
