“It’s just a game.”

But somewhere along the way, it became so much more than that.

What started as a group of people getting together once a week to play soccer has turned into something pretty special. Over the past year, we’ve built friendships, created memories, and become a family in our own way.

We celebrate the wins, both on and off the field. We take the losses together, pick each other up, and show up for one another when life throws challenges our way.

And while this photo doesn’t capture our entire team, those who couldn’t make it are just as much a part of what makes this group so special. They were missed, and the bonds we’ve built extend to every person who’s been part of this journey.

At the end of the day, we might just be teammates playing a game we love, but the bonds we’ve built go well beyond the field.

Pretty grateful for this group of people. Wouldn’t want anyone else on my team. ❤️⚽
