Chidera Obani @_deraa._a is a Nigerian-Australian creative entrepreneur, event producer and emerging construction management professional working across fashion, culture and community. She is the founder of @ziora.au , a textured-hair platform creating opportunities for textured hairstylists and creatives and an event coordinator, producing Afro-diasporic cultural experiences across Australia. Her work has taken her from backstage at Melbourne Fashion Festival & Lagos FW and collaborations with L’Oréal to producing runway shows, community experiences and large-scale events. Alongside her creative work, Chideraa studies Project Management at RMIT, specialising across construction, healthcare and events. Through everything she builds, she is passionate about creating spaces, opportunities and visibility for Black creatives.

Fashion influencers and Platform Creators addressing the new fashion media landscape. This conversation explores how images shape culture, the shift from editorial to social content, and the power to amplify diverse voices.

Bappy is a multidisciplinary creative working across fashion, sound, film, and design. He has collaborated with major brands like Martine Rose and YSL Beauty on creative direction, styling, and sound design. Drawing inspiration from club culture and architecture, Bappy crafts unique visual and sonic experiences. Working globally across cities like Melbourne and Paris, his dynamic approach constantly explores the intersection of image, space, and sound.

Chidera Obani is a Nigerian-Australian creative entrepreneur, event producer, and founder of Ziora, a textured-hair platform for stylists and creatives. She coordinates Afro-diasporic cultural experiences across Australia, with work spanning backstage at Melbourne Fashion Festival, Lagos FW, and L’Oréal collaborations. Concurrently studying Project Management at RMIT, Chidera is deeply passionate about building spaces, opportunities, and visibility for Black creatives through runway shows, community experiences, and large-scale events.

Milo Hartill (they/she) is a Black, queer creative, MC, and host based in Naarm. Known for hosting major events like the Australian Open's Top Court and winning the 2026 MEDEA community spirit award, they are a prominent figure in the queer clubbing scene. Milo passionately integrates social justice into their art, comedy, and social media, advocating for inclusivity in fashion and performing arts. They also create editorials featuring fat, trans, and brown talent, and their solo show, 'Black, Fat and F*ggy,' won a weekly award at Fringe World Perth 2025.

Lydia Tesema is an award-winning MC, presenter, and founder of 'Coffee and Cool'. Based in Melbourne with Ethiopian roots, she connects communities across entertainment, fashion, and social impact spaces. Lydia has collaborated with major brands like Converse and TikTok, as well as cultural platforms like Melbourne Fashion Week.

'Ornamental Behaviour' — PAP 매거진 오리지널 에디토리얼

르네상스 초상화와 연극 의상에서 가져온 <Ornamental Behaviour>는 과장과 과잉으로 빚어진 인물들을 한자리에 모은다. 조각 같은 헤어와 표현적인 메이크업이 변신을 이끌고, 러플과 리본, 코르셋은 각 피겨의 정체성을 확장한다. 드레이프 천, 박스, 높인 플랫폼이 작은 무대들을 만들고, 각자의 퍼포먼스가 시작된다. 시리즈는 아름다움과 장식, 무대 연출이 자기 표현에 어떻게 개입하는지 묻는다.

(EN) Drawing from Renaissance portraiture and theatrical costume, <Ornamental Behaviour> brings together a cast of characters shaped by exaggeration and excess. Sculptural hair and expressive makeup lead the transformations, while ruffles, ribbons and corsetry extend the identity of each figure. Draped fabric, boxes and raised platforms create a series of small stages, giving a sense of individual performance. The series explores how beauty, adornment and staging influence self-presentation.

(IT) Attingendo alla ritrattistica rinascimentale e al costume teatrale, <Ornamental Behaviour> riunisce un cast di personaggi plasmati da esagerazione ed eccesso. Capelli scultorei e makeup espressivo guidano le trasformazioni, mentre rouches, nastri e corsetteria estendono l'identità di ogni figura. Tessuti drappeggiati, scatole e piattaforme rialzate creano una serie di piccoli palcoscenici, ciascuno con la propria performance individuale. La serie indaga come bellezza, ornamento e messa in scena influenzino l'autopresentazione.
