Massive shoutout to @ziotattzz for bringing this whole thing to life. Such a talented artist and genuinely a great guy. Couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

13 tattoos. 3 consecutive days. Over 20 hours under the needle.

Spent three days in Bali getting my entire leg covered in American traditional tattoos. From figuring out the designs and placements to slowly watching the whole sleeve come together, it was such a cool experience.

Not gonna lie, by the third day I was absolutely dying. Especially that last tattoo behind the knee. Easily a 9/10 on the pain scale.

Huge thanks to everyone at HBSC for making the experience so good. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Would I do it again? Absolutely.

If Your tattoo starts itching around day 3-5, that’s usually normal.

this is the stage where:
-The surface begin drying
-Peeling starts
-New Skin forms underneath

as your skinrepairs it self, nerve ending get stimulated.
That’s what creates the itchingsensation.

In most cases, itching menas healing is progressing.

What you shouldn’t do:
-Don’t scratch
-Don’t over moisturize
-Don’t pick peeling skin

If it feels intense, lightly tap the area or apply a very thin layer of moisturizer.

Itching is uncomfortable, but it’s part of process.

sever swelling, spreading redness, or discharge is different. Mild itching? completely normal.

How bad did your last tattoo itch, 1 - 10?

Just got a tattoo? Don’t over moisturize it

A lot of people think more moisturize = faster healing.

It doesn’t.

In the first few days, your tattoo is open wound. it needs to breathe.

When you apply to much moisturizer:
-The skin stays overly wet
-Pores can clog
-Plasma and ink can get trapped
-Healing slows down
-Scabbing can become heavier

A thin, light layer is enough.
Not a thick shiny coat.

If Your tattoo looks glossy all day, that’s too much.

Proper aftercare isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing correctly.

Healthy healing = better long term results.
