AIAA Design Build Fly, thank you for another unforgettable year. ✈️✨🎉

This season pushed us to grow as engineers and as a team. It’s a competition that demands everything you’ve got, but gives back so much more in the form of lifelong connections and hands-on experience. Even without the ending we hoped for, we’re walking away proud of the work we put in.

Thank you to our supporters, mentors, and friends for being part of this season! <3

Congratulations to @zips_aero for 4th place at the DBF competition in Tucson!! I am beyond proud of this team.

Here are pictures of our trip over the long weekend. The mountains are the backdrop for the flight field, in which we had a full moon! We celebrated in the hotel and played games where our captain Mark drew a plane. I got to spend time with one of my good friends who is on the team. The picture in the car is an inside joke. Inside joke. Inside joke (let's just say now I can't listen to this song without laughing). We ended the trip with a .8 mile hike at Picacho Peak State Park hoping to make it to the airport on time - we did - barely. Finally, we also stopped in Saguaro and climbed to an overlook.

I miss the 100° weather already

Competition completed! This team is an amazing family. From jokes to disagreements, to all nighters, and weird music, you name it, they mean the world to me. I have learned so much about being a team and how to overcome adversity by watching and being a part of this dynamic. We may have come 25/100, but that score is not a representation of our skills and our dedication. We didn't get a chance to fly our last mission or do a ground mission attempt. However, when we did fly we flew BEAUTIFUL! We were 3rd place for mission 2 and we literally crashed Thursday last week before flying out here! I just want to thank everyone for the last two years. Thank you for all of the countless hours and thank you to the officers that make it possible.
