@eclectic_mobile_cocktail_bar are coming over with an exclusive cocktail menu crafted just for the night. expect artsy drinks with a grungy vibe by the best mobile bar in the city.

@owls__ofc & @tonystarr_ are bringing the best of the 2000s with a touch of edm. nostalgia is cute, but we expect you to tear up the dance floor.

@aksomatova.tattoo & @foreversexyink will be there for those who want to leave with something more permanent than a hangover.

@street_frame_nyc an old-school vintage photo booth to capture your most mysterious alter ego.

special gifts from @zirkaplace & @jadubeautynyc for the most extraordinary looks of the night.

oh, and something special is happening at midnight.

but we’re not telling you what. yet.

mask is a concept.

you could even call it a social contract. one that’s entirely open to interpretation.

it can conceal, transform, exaggerate, protect, or reveal.

so don’t take “masquerade” too literally. allow yourself to get creative, think outside the box, and decide what a mask means to you.

your face doesn’t have to be the only thing hiding.

dress to impress. or to deceive.

either way, make it unforgettable.

This trip to New York felt incredibly full - in the best possible way🤍

A few very productive weeks, so many moving pieces, and so much progress behind the scenes.

We welcomed a new team member, brought in new clients, worked on the next stage of Liliway’s growth, and added a new person to our marketing team.

But beyond everything we accomplished, what meant the most was simply being here - in the Studio every day, seeing everything up close, watching the team grow, feeling the energy of the space, and understanding even more clearly where Liliway is heading next.

There were also so many beautiful moments in between - seeing familiar faces, treating clients I’ve missed, reconnecting with people I love, and making new memories in a city that will always be such a big part of my life.

Leaving New York with a very full heart, so much gratitude, and a lot of excitement for what’s ahead.

Until next time🤍

put your mask on. it’s halloween.

on october 31 @zirkaplace opens its doors and we invite you to celebrate halloween with us.

an unforgettable night awaits you in the heart of manhattan.

our djs will be spinning the best of the 2000s mixed with edm beats, taking us back in time. quite fitting for a night when time literally changes.

expect something special behind the bar, a secret performance at midnight, and plenty of activities to explore, experiment, and maybe discover something new about yourself.

the dress code? masquerade.
but what is a mask, really?
a disguise? a statement? a second identity?

we’ll leave that up to your imagination. think outside the box, get creative, and remember: the only limit is the one you set yourself.

the best ones will be awarded.

so go ahead, grab your ticket (there is a limited number), and get ready for a night to remember.

Every trip to New York feels different and special, and this one was no exception

There was everything — from a party in Bushwick to ballet, from salon days to my class, from beautiful hair to beautiful moments with friends

I arrived right before the storm, but luckily Manhattan didn’t get the worst of it, my first day turned into a perfect day with the girls — walking, laughing, talking and feeling completely carefree, like being a teenager again, simply enjoying life

Thank you, Vika and Alyona, those simple moments with the right people really warm your heart

Then — back to work

Salon days at Paul Fox Salon in Soho, beautiful hair, clean shapes, strong silhouettes and haircuts designed to grow out beautifully, this is what my work is about — understanding structure and creating a shape that works for the person wearing it

And then — JB CUT TECHNIQUE CLASS

Such a great group of stylists, different backgrounds, different experience, but everyone open to learning and understanding

One of my students spoke only Spanish — no English and none of the languages I speak, so we worked through demonstrations, gestures, elevation and movement — our own haircutting sign language and it worked!

Sometimes technique really is its own language

Thank you Paul Fox & Lyzz for being the best host, as always

Now I’m back in LA, but New York — see you again in two months

My forever lover-city, your energy charges and inspires me every time

New people, new adventures, new classes, new hair

See you soon, NYC
