The healing process :
Let us find ourselves again in 2024.
Thank you @trishstallonept @lastics @butchsandfitness @zitrofit and @red1019 for helping me along this journey.
Without you, I would be able to help others and maintain my passion for personal development.
Thank you so much!

This is the first time I’ve done padwork since I tore my meniscus two months ago and the road to recovery has been great so far!
I want to thank my brother @zitrofit for helping me get back into my rhythm.
You really need to work with people you trust when it comes to pad holding. There’s so much no verbal communication and rapport building you need to have in order for someone to bring the best out of you.
Thankfully my brother Mike has my back.

Do you remember your first time sparring?
Most of the time, we are so scared we rely on instinct and all of our technique goes out the window.
You’re adrenaline is pumping so hard you start shaking. You’re holding your breath on each shot so 30 seconds in you’re exhausted.
That’s why so proud of Mike!
He got in there faced his fears and did an exceptional job composing himself.
This was a jab only round we worked on just the fundamentals:
Keeping your opponent away
Disrupting your opponent’s movement
Initiating scenarios where he could begin combinations.

This was a southpaw v orthodox matchup so we worked on foot positioning to establish leverage and control.
All in all, this is beautiful beginning to a life long journey.
This is what mental martial arts is all about!

Fitness is not about being better than someone else. It’s about being better than you used to be.
