4-show marathon. 1 conducting. ALL DONE!

I'm very grateful that this year's @officialtxjazzfest gave me more opportunities to play with CATS that I didn't get to work with before. Thank you, @ziurga, @andrehayward, and @york100 for the call and sharing your tunes with me! Thank you @sethcarper for the reuniting as a former colleague ending up being at the same state again! Thank you @ryanhaglerbass and @danieldu4 for allowing me to learn from you and have a blast in our own trio set. WOW. Lots of unforgettable moments and achievements happening during this four-show day.

Thank you everyone else who shared the stage with me and who showed up to my performances. With a humble and respectful heart, I will keep knocking on the door to more chances to grow, improve, and make more meaningful human connections/fellowships. The tie has been stregthened!

Johnson City is the place to be for a weekend away in October because there are unique things to do each weekend, where you’ll really get the flavor of the Texas Hill Country - music on starry nights, nostalgia on wheels, pours of robust Texas wines.

A Rabbi walks into a jazz club...

Not the beginning of a great joke, just a Wednesday night in Austin.

Tonight was an homage to one of my faves, Thelonious Monk. This ensemble is INSANE. The narratives and teachings of Rabbi Blumofe, (AKA, Jazz Professor) weaves the stories and the music together in the most profound way.

Thanks to all for an amazing evening.
Andy Langham, piano
Adrian Ruiz, trumpet
Michael Malone, sax
Roscoe Beck, bass
Joshua Berry, drums
Neil Blumofe, host
