Celebrating my #100th @soulcycle ride today and I won’t get all preachy on you (I can hear @matt_fitzy eye rolling from here) but all I can say is I started doing these classes as a one off in New York and DC several years ago over a summer whilst I was at my most insecure about my fitness level. I don’t like getting into weight stuff publicly but all I can say is it’s rare to find a space where you can be at your unhappiest (whether physically or emotionally) and your happiest and be championed/supported in the exact same way. Strength can come in all forms and instructors like @kendrakemerley remind us all how it’s not all about RPM and “winning” but just feeling good in your body even if just for 45 minutes 🎉🥳🚴🏽‍♀️ #soulcycle #nottinghill #community #100thride #love #kendrailoveyou #louisthepoolboy

Happy Saturday all!! Let’s take a look @soulcycle ❤️❤️❤️ . . . Branch : Soho Class : Soul Cycle Trainer : @mickyjjohnston 📸: @93kwhel . . . I’d heard so much about this place so was super excited to give it a try ☺️ The class itself was good, @mickyjjohnston was great!! He absolutely made it for me! I unfortunately found the studios a little too cramped for my liking... We all know there’s not a lot of space in the heart of London, but for me there were just too many bikes in the studio. This of course transfers to the changing areas as well, although lovely, I had to wait for about 10-15 minutes after class before I could even think about squeezing in to get to my locker. I think over all the atmosphere was nice and felt very supportive of everyone, i felt like I’d done a good amount of exercise by the end of it and they’ve got everything you need there... But the selling point for me was definitely @mickyjjohnston who actually happened to be a substitute for that class. . . . Prices are definitely on the higher side at £26 for a single class, with of course all the usual discounted packages. ✨SENIOR INSTRUCTOR✨ ✦ 2019 has undoubtedly been one of my biggest years. A goal I’ve had for a very long time finally came to fruition and I experienced one of the greatest highlights of my 20-year fitness career. After being told years ago that my journey as a SOUL instructor would end, it was hard to imagine getting this far. For years I struggled with I feeling like I was far behind and not good enough. I knew that the only way I was going to get where I deserved to be meant carving my own path and accepting that my path and story would look different from everyone else. I needed to trust the timing of my life. ✦ Hard work, commitment, patience, persistence, resilience, and surrounding myself with people who supported and believed in me is what helped move me forward. From NYC to London, thank you to every rider that has clipped in to share space with me. To my Instructor fam - thank you for being guiding lights and a constant source of inspiration. To the entire @soulcycle Team - especially LSHO, NTHL, BRPK, E54, E63 - thank you for all your love and support. To @eddieleenyc thank you for your endless support and love. 💛 ✦ LONDON - I’m so grateful that my journey led me across the pond.
