I never thought I'd laugh again.. but here I am, laughing, living, and loving life!

After losing my son, l walked through the darkest valley. My faith was shaken, my heart was shattered, and joy felt impossible.

But God met me there. He whispered, "Daughter, you will rise again." And slowly, I did.

My book is a testimony of courage, renewed faith, and the journey from grief's heaviness to a life full of purpose and transformation. It's for every mother who has loved deeply, lost greatly, and is ready to live again.

Join me for my 2nd book signing event---an afternoon of hope, hugs, and healing. Remember, you are not alone, and your story is not over.

So many times we allow what others do or say to us make us bitter. We get so caught up in trying to figure out a way to fix them that we allow the bitterness to fester in the pit of our souls and become a mechanism for blocking our blessing. LET IT GO!!! That's not your fight. Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord, I will repay. Develop a posture of prayer and KEEP IT MOVING! God said I will make your enemies your footstool. Allow God to use them to make you and don't allow what they say or do control you to break you.

It's a great day to have a great day!

The late Rev. Dr. Haywood T. Gray used to say this simple prayer. "For this day, dear Lord, we give you our thanks. Amen." When I asked him why such a short prayer, he simply stated, "that's enough."

God is not concerned with how long we pray, only that we pray and do it with a sincere heart. "And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them. For your father knows the things you have need of before you ask him." Matthew 6:7-8.

Make today a great day because the day is already great.

Peace... Once you have it, you won't let anyone destroy it. And, when you have it, you are not controlled by circumstances and situations. That peace that comes from God...it surpasses all. If you want to have an abundant life, don't invite peace stealers into your life.

It's time to move beyond those things that are holding you back. It's time to live the life you were promised. It's time to live beyond your past. Learn from it, use what you've learned, and move forward.

Trust me I understand your pain, especially if you've lost someone dear. When I lost my son I kept saying if I had just.. if only I would have.. I should have.. and all that got me was hurt, more pain, guilt, and self-blame. Because the truth of the matter is I couldn't have done anything to keep what happened from happening. And if I could go back into the past and bring him back I would have already done that by now. But I know that's not possible. My joy is one day I will see him again. But for now I had to learn how to conquer the past and move forward into the life God has promised me.

So, this is my first tip. Listen daily for other tips. And if you are ready to conquer your past, visit www.vernitainspires.com and join my mailing list to be in the know about my upcoming training.

And don't forget to share this with family and friends.

Happy Daughter Day to the best there is. There is so much I can say about Jessica, but the thing that comes closest to my mind is the way she gently and compassionately cares for her daughter. The way she champions for her. The way she loves her. The way she holds her and knows her hurts. My daughter is a great daughter but she is an even greater mother. I love you my sunshine, with all my heart.❤️❤️❤️
