Had the privilege to pour our first cuvée last Saturday in Paris! Muchísimas gracias a nuestra familia @larural_ . Zoe Clifton and David Wilson opened their debut natural wine bar, BabySips, just a year ago, and they’re already onto their second project. “We were crazy to say yes, and we were crazy to say no, so we said yes,” Clifton says about opening Bodega Nights, 2,200-square-foot restaurant in Bushwick. Here in the kitchen, Iberia meets Brazil with a low-intervention wine list to pair.

The name Bodega Nights (@bodeganights.bk) carries two meanings and both matter. In New York, a bodega is a community cornerstone where everyone belongs. In Spain, bodega means winery. Zoe Clifton (@zoact7) and David Wilson (@winenotwineboy), the duo behind BabySips, built their new Bushwick wine bar around exactly that intersection. 🍷

The wine program follows the same ethos that earned BabySips its following: small production, minimal intervention wines that tell a real story. The food leans Brazilian and Iberian, with small plates and large format dishes designed to be shared generously around the table. 🌿 David spent half his life in Brazil, absorbing a culture built on warmth and communal dining, while time spent with winemakers in Catalonia shaped how they think about wine and hospitality. The result is a space that feels both worldly and deeply neighborhood.🥂
