I love playing shows…this open mic was really special at the end of Summer 2025. Getting to merge hip hop & #internalfamilysystems aka #partstherapy is still a wild thing that I never thought would catch on. Shouts to the homies @lifedrawingboston + @loov_the for being an incredible event and ever growing venue. Glad I caught on to this event early…that’s a beauty of DIY music, we seek these places out & never know what will come from them.

I just finished up a tour with the big 🐶 @symmatreedyr on the west coast. Getting back into the swing of things. Catch ya out in the wild!

ALL PRAISE TO DICK SCHWARTZ, FRANCINE SHAPIRO MAKING MY DISTURBANCES GO FROM 7 TO ZERO

Inspired today by seeing the homie @antmaintain reading “No Bad Parts” by the legend & founder of IFS/PARTS therapy, Richard Schwartz. This open mic curated by @monks_temple_records + @sweet_basil_on_moody was an absolute blast.

PARTS + EMDR (my combo) f’ing rule dawg. It’s life changing & no more the addiction, the dysfunction, or the trauma…these are parts that speak for you, to you, & with you. And sometimes, it’s not as bad as you see it or as they see you!

Check out “P2RTS” by ya boy DRENT on the interwebs & streamz.

From creating problems with maga rappers to opening for @problems_music this upcoming TUESDAY. Special thanks to @myrtle.rhodeisland for believing in me & giving me opportunities. Very excited to open for an indie artist who believes in DIY, the long game of touring no matter what, & is sober 💅 Also excited to share stories of being on the road, especially from someone who does it a lot more than me. It’s truly an honor.

Gonna bring some trauma informed raps, confronting shit & making people vibe out as well! It’s very important right now that we use community and connection to be able to be there for each other and experiencing things together. I don’t have all the answers, but I know when all else fails…

I love rapping about #partstherapy #internalfamilysystems

Thanks to @everettcompanystageschool last night for having me for my 445th show last night. Been onna run the last 3 years touring all over the midwest, south, tristate, DMV & New England…it’s always special to pull up to the first place I ever IN MY LIFE performed at in 2013. Got much love for that space & even thanked them in my liner notes with my debut album with @allonevoice in 2014! We about to hit 450 shows in the coming weeks…see you out there, got a little mini run I’m announcing before Thanksgiving. Keep pushing, keeping moving and when all else fails…

PARTS OF ME TOUR: DAYS 4-6
//
Had a fan @katietwig come to the show in Virginia! Was very confused when I announced PARTS & got cheers so far away from home 😂 Had fan art drawn for me performing live in VA. This is why I do this ❤️ Ate mad good food in DC & Virginia! Crushed last night in New Hope, PA since my Philly gig was initially cancelled! Thanks to @krachdeedot for the alley oop & booking a good amount of this tour for me. Had a polish cheesesteak too as seen on Triple D…and the PATS won. Just like old times 🏆

See you tonight at @milkboysouthstreet + @katiesofsmithtown for the next two dates!!
