Great amounts of gratitude to @zoe_cry for facilitating this two part workshop. Loved exploring her process and connecting to inner to outer space/ experience/ impulse/ sensation/ somatic art. Felt so held and safe to go deep into this journey.
Beautiful to experience this as a cohesive collective and create together.
Thanks @soveriegn.love for being the catalyst to our connection.
Thanks @plantthepeas for photos

35 YEARS OF ACCESS. ONE BIG CELEBRATION! 🎂

We are so excited to introduce the incredible group of artists coming together for Access Gallery’s 35th Anniversary Auction!

Bringing together emerging and established artists across generations and practices, this year’s auction is a celebration of the artists, ideas, and communities that have shaped Access over the past 35 years.

We are truly grateful to every participating artist for their generosity and support. Your contributions help us continue making space for artistic experimentation, critical conversations, and opportunities for emerging artists, curators, and arts workers. 💗

And there are still more artists to be announced! Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing the artworks, introducing participating artists, and giving you a closer look at what’s coming to the auction.

One thing that matters deeply to us is making art collecting more accessible. That’s why this year’s auction will feature works across a wide range of price points, with opportunities for both first-time and seasoned collectors to find something they love.

Art as a self healing practice ✨ I’m fascinated how art history, art theory, education and capitalism have distracted us away from the potency that art can have. I believe when the body is intrinsic (not separate) to creativity we can more consistently access depth, connection, transformation.
