I've started ballet training since the age of three, and my lessons lasted right up until last summer - ballet brought me into the world of dancing. I've loved to perform since I was small, and dancing gave me plenty of opportunities, with summer performances at Sha Tin Town Hall or TST Cultural Centre, and Christmas at malls or hotels. Once when I was performing outside Times Square for Christmas, I had only a thin shawl on my shoulders. With a freezing body, I had no choice but to bite the bullet when I heard the music; but when it ended, I was drenched with sweat - it was total bliss! If we were lucky enough to perform at hotels, we'd have mini-buffets after the show, and I always ate my fill! Now that I'm thinking of it, scenes where I'd have to apply eyeliner again and again, or the excitement and anxiety of waiting backstage, and even hearing the audience's ovation - these were all small but definite happiness I've encountered during performances.

Besides ballet, I've been exposed to more types of dancing since I've joined the team in secondary school. I've tried jazz, modern, hip hop, and even tap dancing and Chinese dance. (READ FULL STORY ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE)

"Life's a dance, you learn as you go, sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow." I'll miss this childhood place of ours; our playground, our downfall, our confidence, our passion...
