An unforgettable few days at Peligoni for The Gather ✨ Incredible location , music, amazing vibes, beautiful food and the most wonderful people. What a beautiful way to close the summer. The Palomar team went above and beyond, working tirelessly to bring the full Palomar experience to life. Everything was perfect but the energy was incredible from start to finish. A huge thank you to Dan, Ella and all the team for making it so special. What an experience! 🤍 #TheGather #Peligoni #ThePalomar #GoodFoodGoodMusic #UnforgettableMoments

Back in London and catching up on @theststyle. These two issues included my feature about what’s worth bringing home from everywhere you might be going on holiday this summer (thank you @connerives, @sharmadeanreid, @trish.wescoatpound, @jiyoungpyo_rejina, @alice_wawrik and all my other informants – you have the best taste!) and a Barometer story validating my mahjong obsession (thank you @sikwumahjong and @dearasia_london!). In the spirit of the summer shopping story, it’s only fair that I tell you some of what I brought back from a month in and around the US: the @horse___sport shorts I can’t stop wearing, @owala bottles for the kids, a worrying quantity of @traderjoes EBTB seasoning blend, a new favourite @ullajohnson skirt, a vintage NY yellow taxi T-shirt, @parachutehome bedding, the @target x @rosie_assoulin belt, vintage Levi’s, too many @therealreal gems to count, a @loefflerrandall pointelle top, @designessentials curl mousse (as recommended by @kenyahunt 🙏 ), four boxes of mac & cheese, a @maisonbalzac hand cake server, SEVERAL mahjong sets... I could go on, but won’t. Happy summer hols and remember: always leave space in your suitcase to bring home a little something special! ✈️ 🧳 🛍️ 🀄️ 👏

Earlier this week, we hosted our first International Women’s Day lunch and In Conversation with the inimitable @maryportasofficial and @vivgroskop at The Barbary Notting Hill, bringing together a brilliant group of women to share perspectives on leadership, collaboration, and the power of solidarity. Today, on International Women’s Day, it feels even more meaningful to reflect on that conversation — and on the collective effort to create more opportunities for women. The event has raised £2,500 for @kingstrust Change a Girl’s Life, giving women a working future with the resources, confidence, and opportunities they need to achieve their ambitions and build a brighter future. If you’d like to make a donation today, you can find our fundraising link in our bio! Thank you to our partners @investec and everyone who joined us, contributed, and helped make the afternoon so inspiring. Here’s to continuing to lift each other up. 📸 @leocackett_studio #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2026 #WomenSupportingWomen #ChangeAGirlsLife

The voice is back and International Women’s Day events are GO ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Speaking to @maryportasofficial at @barbarylondon (amazing food) about her quest to promote the “kindness economy” and countering the aggression and profit-at-any-cost narrative prevalent in politics and business. Thanks to @zoepaskin for hosting. I got to meet @thomasinamiers which was v exciting but stupidly forgot to ask her for a selfie. Now to the countdown… Publication day for How to Own the Room paperback dawns…. Gearing up for the BIG event at Royal Geographical Society 7.30pm tomorrow (Thurs). 650+ tickets sold — box office still open for the last few. If you don’t have IWD plans, come along! (See @how.to.academy for tickets.)

Mary Portas OBE hardly needs an introduction. A renowned businesswoman, broadcaster, activist and author, she has spent decades reshaping how we think about retail, leadership and the role of business in society. On Wednesday, 4 March, we are so excited to welcome @maryportasofficial for a special International Women’s Day In Conversation with @vivgroskop and lunch at The Barbary Notting Hill. This event raises funds for The @kingstrust #ChangeAGirlsLife campaign, supporting young women with the resources, confidence and opportunities they need to achieve their ambitions and build a brighter future. This chimes in with the spirit of the event: to encourage greater collaboration and kindness, and help one another rise up. The Barbary Notting Hill Wednesday, 4 March 2026 12 - 3.30pm Places are limited and can be booked via SevenRooms by selecting 4 March. A minimum charitable donation of £20 per ticket is required, with larger contributions warmly encouraged. Please use the link in our bio to donate! It means a great deal to me to be hosting the ‘Hosted By’ series with The Watershed Group this year. I first crossed paths with Watershed during my time at Hawksmoor in 2011, working closely with Stephen and supporting programmes across the south of England, from Bournemouth to Birmingham. Those early sessions stayed with me, and I’ve continued that relationship by bringing Watershed’s work into our teams at Studio Paskin. Being asked to host this series really does feel full circle. The series begins on 27 February with Tricia Taylor, someone I’ve long admired. She works internationally with organisations to translate the science of learning into everyday practice, and after 25 years as a teacher, school leader and university lecturer, she has a rare ability to make complex ideas feel both tangible and human. Last year’s series led to some incredibly thoughtful conversations, and I’m really looking forward to continuing them this year. To book a space, please email: Helen@thewatershedgroup.co.uk

at @palomarsoho aka one of my favourite seats in London for unbelievable STEAK served on this fragrant zhug I wanna spread on everything, a ridiculous BAKLAVA ICE CREAM SANDWICH and this freshly baked tin bread that was so light, it defied gravity more than Cynthia Erivo. With a menu influenced by the rich cultures of Southern Spain, North Africa and the Levant, this restaurant, and specifically the counter here, is one of my all time fave seats in London, and has been for over a decade. The food is delicious but the energy and vibe makes it truly one of London’s best and it will never get enough kudos, even though it’s @michelinguide Bib Gourmand recognised. Go. Now. SAVE THIS POST AND SHARE WITH MATES! 🤤🔥🤤🔥🤤🔥🤤🔥🤤🔥🤤🔥🤤🔥🤤🔥🤤🔥🤤 #ksatehere #chinatown #londonfoodguide
