It started with a phone call. As the crisis in Beirut and South Lebanon deepened, Cynthia Khoury @cicikhoury , founder of Artse @theartse__ , began reaching out to artists in Dubai.

Within weeks, that outreach became a regional collective effort with Garo Bardakjian @garobrdk of the Dalloul Artist Collective @dacbeirut , bringing together 30 artists from Lebanon, Iraq, Tunisia, Palestine, Egypt, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Syria.

Each artist donated a work on equal terms, from Dia Azzawi @diaazzawi to first time exhibitors. Every piece, sold at every price point, carries the same weight.

100% of proceeds go directly to displaced families in Beirut and South Lebanon: shelter, food, medical care, distributed through trusted local contacts on the ground.

Rising (2025) captures a Sufi in motion, surrounded by loose lines and fragments of language. The work feels spontaneous, playful, and full of release.

For her future to be shaped by love, courage, and those who continue to believe in her.
