im grateful to all the old versions of me who have helped me become
who I was meant to be❤️‍🩹★

in just a few hours, Ultra Vixen becomes not just mine, but ours. ☠️ Something that’s been in the works for, realistically, a few years, but what seems like a lifetime.

I was 10 years old, and my grandmother taught me how to sew, but ofc it being 2012, my outlet for creativity and construction was found in duct tape lol. It was the first time that i felt called toward something, as silly as it was, but nonetheless I followed the passion. A similar thing happened a few years ago, when deep in my depression I found solace in painting my old handbags. I felt that calling again, and like the first time, I didn’t question it, I chased it.

I started selling my bags & later, upcycled garments, at local thrift markets, making them for friends as gifts & even got to debut my designs on the runway last year with @onpearlstreet . It got to to point where I didn’t feel correct unless i was making something with my hands. So, taking a leap of faith this summer, I began to build the Ultramania collection, and worked for months, from sun up to sun down, carefully crafting my vision for you all.

I remember catching up with my friend a few weeks ago, she had asked what I had been up to. I remember saying “ive been locked inside my house all week and all ive been doing is sewing. i wouldn’t have it any other way” and I was transported back to being 10 years old, cranking out projects at the kitchen table, placing a small piece of my soul in each thing i made.

It fills me with so much joy and honor to bring you this collection, and to continue to share my ever growing love for creation with all of you ;,) thank you to everyone who has supported me on here, irl, and all the vixens that helped my collection come to life.

-so much luv xoxo, Em💜

⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
“Ultramania” is a one-of-one upcycled collection inspired by punk textiles, teenage rebellion, loose threads & late nights hanging in front of the 7/11. This collection highlights the beauty & individuality of the alternative community through a nostalgic and colorfully punchy lens, each piece handmade with an equal dose of both rage and love.

30+ pieces (size xs-xL) (garms & bags) will be available at ultravixen.shop on Thursday, October 30th at 3pm EST. Join the email list to stay in the loop!😚

note from the designer: hii its me em🖤 you all know I’ve been growing as an upcycle artist over the past few years & its my absolute honor to share this collection with you. I started this project over the summer, as I was regaining my strength after my mental collapse, so to see it fully visualized is nothing short of a dream. Thank you all for your constant love and support my vixen angelz, this is just the beginning! :)
