Meet Juliana Veterano (@this.is.juliana), host of the @zone2speak podcast and part of the PARTY PACE PATROL for SNEAK PEAKS ENTREE.

Juliana’s journey with cycling started early, growing up in Rio de Janeiro where bikes were simply part of daily life. Her dad used to take her to school sitting on the frame of his bike.

Later, while studying in the US, she discovered endurance sports through community rides, triathlons and long training days with friends. When she eventually found gravel cycling and bikepacking, everything clicked: the freedom, the adventure and the simple joy of moving through landscapes under your own power.

That spirit is exactly what the PARTY PACE PATROL is about.

Riding together at a steady pace, sharing the highs and lows of the journey, supporting each other along the way and creating a space where adventure feels a little more connected and a little more inclusive.

A weekend that was worth every bit of work. Seeing so many women come together to ride, to support each other, and to spend a full weekend on bikes in Alentejo, one of the most special corners of the world to me, was incredibly powerful.

The joy, the nerves, the determination, the breakthroughs… watching women push past fear and ride with such heart was unforgettable 💛

It wasn’t just a weekend.
It was 205 km, 3000 m of elevation,
sore legs, sore butts, sore everything.

Shared snacks, endless climbs, a lot of complaining… and even more laughing.

21 women, different countries, one wild ride.

✨🚴‍♀️ The next Women’s Bikepacking Weekend is here!

No mountains this time – but just as much fun, a few river crossings, and plenty of good vibes.

We’re teaming up with @she.rides.cc by @zone2speak podcast to host our very first international women’s bikepacking weekend.

In Alentejo, Portugal, the land of @gravelbirds, and starting from Castro Verde, we will come together to ride our bikes, explore, and share some adventures.

This off-road weekend is our way to close autumn on the best note possible – with a few surprises along the way, thanks to the brands supporting this initiative.

Applications are open, and spots are limited to 30 women. This event is free of charge, but registration is mandatory. You’ll find all the info in our link in bio.

This is a @zone2speak podcast clip from @via_race and perhaps my favourite story from the whole ride!

A decision I made after Gate 9 meant that I couldn’t navigate from my Garmin anymore and instead had to rely on my phone. This wasn’t a problem until the rain started to come down…

This is the story of how I dealt with that and how a handy baguette saved the day 😂

The audio is clipped from @zone2speak and pictures used in the video were taken by the incredible @sofigato and @ejderblick ❤️

I wish I’d have filmed more during the ultra race so this is my best effort to visualise the story 😂 looking forward to my next bikepacking trip where I can take time filming again. Editing this footage is a struggle at the moment!
