“Just be more confident.”

That’s what players hear all the time…

But no one tells you HOW.

So if you’re a hitter struggling with confidence, start here:

👉 1. Visualize
See yourself succeed before it happens.
Not just once but over and over again.

👉 2. Work harder than you have been.
Your routines build your confidence.
If you know you’ve done the work, you’ll trust it.

👉 3. Stop caring what others think
This one kills more hitters than anything.
You’re worried about your coach, teammates, parents…

Meanwhile your own thoughts are a mess.

⚡ Confidence doesn’t come from outside… it comes from what you believe internally.

Yes, other people’s opinions matter to an EXTENT…

But letting them DEFINE you?

That’s where players lose themselves.

The S.C.O.R.E.® System allows you to manage your own confidence easily! Check out the free assessment at ZoneCoach.com

⚾️ Your player is struggling to adjust in games…

if we’re being honest…a lot of us as coaches are causing it.

We’re talking through every swing instead of teaching hitters how to think for themselves.

Try this at your next practice:
Run a silent round. Say nothing. Then ask questions after.

That’s how you build hitters who can adjust when it matters.

👇 Coaches—be honest: do you do this?
Tag a coach who needs this!

Everyone loves the puppy stage…

It’s fun.
It’s exciting.
You’re all in.

But then it gets harder.

Less sleep.
More responsibility.
Less “fun.”

And that’s where real commitment shows up.

👉 You don’t get to only commit when it feels good.

Same in sports. Same in business.

The athletes who make it…
The people who succeed…

They show up when:
• They’re tired
• They’re not motivated
• It’s not exciting anymore

⚡ Commitment isn’t a feeling. It’s a decision you keep making.

Every. Single. Day.

Everyone says it’s pressure that makes people choke…

Look at March Madness.
Game on the line.
Everything at stake.

But here’s another perspective:

👉 It’s not the pressure.

It’s the thoughts that come with it.

When you’re playing your best:
• You’re present
• You’re focused on ONE thing
• You trust yourself
• You feel like nothing can go wrong

When you “choke”:
• Your mind speeds up
• You’re thinking about everything
• You’re worried about outcomes
• You’re stuck in the past or future

That shift right there… is everything.

⚡ Pressure doesn’t break you — your focus does.

So what do you do?

Control what you can:
• Your breathing
• Your thoughts
• Your focus
• Your game plan

That’s how you stay locked in when it matters most.

👇 Have you ever felt this in a big moment?

#Music has a profound impact on our emotions, behaviors, and overall enjoyment of life. This concept plays a crucial role in Jim Fannin’s S.C.O.R.E. Method, where music is recognized as a powerful tool for enhancing enjoyment and positivity.

In the context of the S.C.O.R.E. Method, music particularly ties into the ‘Enjoyment’ component. Enjoyment is about finding joy in the process and being in the moment. It’s about experiencing a sense of pleasure and satisfaction in what you’re doing, whether it’s a professional task, a sport, or any daily activity.

In life and in our careers, it’s easy to feel lost at times. We face challenges that seem insurmountable, make decisions that lead to unexpected outcomes, or simply find ourselves at a crossroads, unsure of which path to take.

But today, I want to share a powerful mindset shift: You’re never lost; you just haven’t found your way yet. This perspective is not just about optimism; it’s about recognizing the inherent process of growth and discovery in our journey.

Have you noticed this one thing that #champion athletes have in common?

When athletes are “in the zone,” a state of focused and heightened performance, their jaw often appears unhinged or relaxed. This phenomenon is not just a random occurrence, but a reflection of the deep connection between physical relaxation and mental focus!
