I remember when my mentor @ramidreams asked me to join this trip, it was invite only, practitioners only - I hesistated, and the trip filled up. I asked to be put on the waitlist, to let the angels decide. I knew I was going in that moment, I just wasn’t ready to say yes. But after my third Somatic training, I had released enough sympathetic energy from my nervous system - fear and anxiety. And when he told me another spot opened up, I knew it was a full body yes. I needed that last little bit of nervous system healing, which is actually a lot by the way. This work allows us to build Yin, to become more embodied, as does the Andean Medicine, but the altitude is hard on your body. It took time for my me to get strong enough. Other than the loss of my parents, this trip was the second hardest thing I’ve ever done. And it realigned me with the Divine, it redirected me to the Eternal Mother and Eternal Father - remember they never die, and are always within us. It is our job to do this, to reparent our inner children, with the love of the Divine. And I felt loved and held by them, and by our group, from day one. This was years in the making. I had so many opportunities to go to Peru, but over the course of the past 12 years, none of them, except for this one felt right. And I’m so glad that I waited, that I let Spirit decide, and guide me. And the angels, they did not disappoint. They literally moved mountains for me, mountains of grief, fear, love, and I welcome them all with open arms. When we are doing this level of healing work, it takes time for many of us. It takes years of preparation. I have been committed to my practices in a very deep and intentional way these past couple of years. It has taken gentle and consistent practice for me to be able to move the needle on this deeper healing I’ve been wanting. Remember, the nervous system is wired for our survival, so it will do whatever it takes to keep us safe. I’m so grateful to mine, and I’m also grateful that I’ve learned so many practices, that have allowed me to guide myself to true safety, not just towards survival like so many of my ancestors needed to do. So thank for walking this path with me. 🪽✨
