Over the holidays my incredibly awesome partner grabbed me a Switch 2 for Xmas 🎄 x

First thing I ran to grab was the one game I was adamant would convince me to grab the next Switch and that was Metroid Prime 4. It’s stunning so far 👌🏼 Been using joycon handheld aiming for this one, not tried mouse controls yet 🤓

Game keycards? Still not grabbed one and it will pain me when I’m forced to over a game I really want to play, say FFVII remake or Duskbloods…

I’ll give Nintendo this, they’ve provided options, even if in a contemptible way lol

@nintendoaunz smashing those amiibo out in perfect form as usual and the collection forever grows! I’m only missing a couple of animal crossing ones from memory. Well keen for these to keep flowing because they have all been quality 💪🏼

Enjoy the game if you’re digging in!

Bayonetta 3 is incoming!!! @nintendoaunz
Luv the Umbral Witch and her antics 🔥 evident by my entrapment of her services on 3 different generational platforms 🫵🏼
There was massive controversy going down over this release! If you have thoughts, lay them down, i’m free from shill lyf fear, so, ready for retorts 🤭

When it comes to slow burn films that pack a punch, Michael Mann is one of my favourite film makers!
He has a knack for developing villains under the radar and across the length of each movie. You often find yourself totally understanding their perspective, and while they may do deplorable things, there is an answer why.
My first foray into his stuff was The Last of the Mohicans. I was blown away my the music, then the combat, visuals and finally the love story. Danial Day Lewis, fkn WOW! He will forever be one of the best actors to grace the silver screen 🫡
A few years later when I first heard about Heat and the actors that were going to be involved, i nearly lost my sh1t! Once it hit the cinemas and I was able to see what Mann was up to, I was just blown away! Every action in it had a purpose, every scene, developed your understanding of the complex relationship between two people that are masters of their craft, while at the same time being victims to it. Those near and dear were the ones that suffered, yet no matter how obvious their passions endured abuse, the allure of full-filling what they were born to do, always prevented them from walking away. It’s complexities in story telling like this that feed me big time! There is a Heat 2 incoming, I honestly can’t wait to see what we’re given. I won’t be reading the book. I’ll just wait it out until the flick hits and hopefully enjoy it 🫣

Some readily available Dead titles. That reminds me I need to find my copy of dead island, damn, would have sat here nicely 🧟
As a champion of cinema once said “Bury the dead, they stink up the place” 😆 If you know that quote’s origin, you’re the real mvp 🫵🏼

“You will own nothing and you will be happy!”
Yeh nah stuff that for a joke 🙄 I will resist this push for a digital library for as long as the futility of ignoring it is absent! I much rather enjoy the tactile nature of owning my own stuff in hand anyway, far from the reach of the bad decisions made by corporate entities, often driven by community taste or the lapse of a license term 😆 I will watch what I want, when I want, not be told by a play list chosen by popular demand 😜

Welcome Thor, to my Marvel library 🤗
I fortunately got to catch both of these at the cinema and loved them. Love and Thunder’s flow was a bit wishy washy but overall it was fun, as all Taika movies are 👌🏼🤩 Bring more Marvel, i’ve seen your road map and I’m far from tired of the experiences you provide. Just make sure I can grab them from a store 🫣

Odd Films, this is what excites me the most when choosing experiences on film. Whether they meet critical acclaim or not, its what I personally draw from them that interests me.
Consume what you want, do not let the opinions of others drive your decision making 💁🏻‍♂️

Just yesterday I started a Jill Valentine pencil piece for a REvil fan on here 🤙🏼🤓
Going realistic this time, haven’t done this style since my Sonya Blade piece, so looking to further some skills and get some crazy full frame action going on with this one 😜
Prob won’t surface again until finished 😎
Working on another painting which is a mega slow burn unfortunately, but, it’ll be worth it 🙏🏻
What character would you commission to be visualised in realistic form?

Another fantasy flick today that shaped my movie viewing history 🤗
The magical Dark Crystal!
One thing that stuck as a massive memory for me from this film was the massive long legged striders that the Gelfling heroes rode.
Anyone seen the Age of Resistance prequel series on Netflix? Those bloody Podlings are funny as 🍑
