POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A room full of Selfless Love elves, some early holiday cheer, and a whole lot of heart! 🎄💕🎁
@selflesslovefoundation friends wrapped over 200+ holiday ornaments, with 💯 of donations going toward supporting foster youth! Then came a little karaoke, White Elephant fun, and a sneak peek at some exciting SLF events ahead! Jam packed!
One of my favorite touches was the Angel 👼 Tree 🌲, featuring holiday wish lists from young adults who've aged out of foster care. Anyone can help make their Christmas a little brighter by fulfilling a wish from their Amazon list! 🎁 (check out SLF bio links)
A beautiful day of giving, laughter, and love with people who care🥹🫶🏼✨ Tis is already the season!

Still reminiscing on the most magical night! @kidsbeatingcancer Hats & Heroes Ball.

History will judge us by the difference we make in the everyday lives of children, especially those facing severe health issues.

Each year, there are an estimated 15,780 children between the ages of birth and 19 years of age who are diagnosed with cancer.
Their families need us and count on our support. Please help. Get involved. Volunteer. Give if you can. Share. Love.

Yesterday, we turned the very first page of Bears Who Care in the 2026-2027 School Year! 🐻

At one of our incredible partner schools, @OCPS Academic Center for Excellence, 200+ children across 10 classrooms stepped into a world where bears, books, art and imagination came alive and we can’t wait to return throughout the year!

Now the adventure continues to 12+ additional schools, and we need volunteers to help bring the wonder into every classroom. As 8 Waves develops I AM Children’s Museum, Bears Who Care will grow into a museum outreach program and inspire a future kid-sized pretend-play exhibit centered on bears and literacy. Come be part of the story, message us to help bring a spark of creativity to local schools!

Happy first day of school!

Today is a good day for our precious little girls and boys, as they find their way back to school despite the hard circumstances surrounding their lives.
They are well equipped and thoroughly prepared for a school year ahead, that will be filled with exciting opportunities, fun activities and successful results.

Our HOPE (Help Orphans Prepare for Education) program is an investment in children’s knowledge, which will pay the best interest, be their most powerful weapon, and most important, unlock the golden door of freedom.

The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.
Have a wonderful school year kiddos! 📚

2026 school supplies giveaway 📚

Our annual school supplies giveaway provides an excellent opportunity to gather the children enrolled in our HOPE (Help Orphans Prepare for Education) program, reiterate the importance of education, and ensure they have the tools required for a successful school year.

On Sunday, August 29th, we distributed backpacks filled with essential school supplies, including books, notebooks, writing & coloring instruments, calculators, and other specific items requested by different schools. The excitement among the children was truly palpable.

Being orphaned or vulnerable should not prevent a child from accessing education. Through the HOPE program, our goal is to create opportunities where knowledge is attainable for all children requiring support.

As a new school year begins for our children on September 7th, 2026, we remain committed to this mission.
