Our Artist of the Week: @zrithewicked 🟠

ZRi's continuous evolution is a masterclass in independent artistry. From shaping movements as a label owner and hip-hop staple to carving out a lush, sophisticated lane in alternative jazz and R&B, his output over the last few years has been relentless.

Before It Was Evergreen captures that exact metamorphosis, blending intricate instrumentation with elite vocal and production collaborations from across the South African landscape.

Peaking in the top 5 on the Apple Music Jazz charts is a well-earned nod to a body of work that refuses to stay boxed in.

Stream Before It Was Evergreen on @spotifyafrica and @applemusic . 🇿🇦

Another Alternative Lunchbox in the books. 🥪🎶✨

Thursday’s Lunchbox was filled with beautiful music and even better energy, with @fkakaymo and @zrithewicked joining me in the studio. 🤍

Thank you to both artists for trusting me with your art and allowing me to share your music, stories and creativity with the world. It’s always such a privilege to create a space where artists can simply be themselves and let their music speak.

Until the next Lunchbox… 🎙️🍱
